The totally awesome Jamesi has gifted me with a year's subscription to MacWorld! It will definitely come in handy.
Thanks (notso)Sekrit Santa!!!!
You are very welcome. As a novice Mac user last year (Ellen Feiss convinced me to switch), I found the tips in the magazine to be very helpful. Also, you might consider subscribing to the Macworld email newsletter -- lots of great tips in there as well.

I just got back home unexpectedly and my Secret Santa had visited while I was gone. Thanks for the Dark Knight DVD (Morgan Freeman ROCKS!!!). Also, the new Michael Connelly book will be a great read. I really appreciate it.
Please send me a PM so I can thank you formally, as the info from Amazon.com only has your real name, which I do not recognize.

A van stopped outside my house today, and the postie came over with a parcel. As I was signing for it he was curious to know what was inside. So was I. I quickly realised that it must be my Secret Santa package.

My Sekrit Santa Lives Somewhere Warm I received a package today from a company that I have purchased several things from, both in the past and present. They have some really interesting gifts. ThinkGeek.com.
The thing was, I hadn't ordered this item. But, Lo and Behold, there on the packing slip was a billing address from halfway around the world.
Thanks SS, I now have a nice plasma ball to better illuminate those late evenings in my office.

Usually people share. It's fun to see what other minds think of.

thank you so much oh my goodness! My secret santa went way over the top. Today I opened an envelope from the Museum of Modern Art, which I thought was just a holiday card, or a solicitation for money, from the museum. Instead, it was A GIFT MEMBERSHIP FOR A YEAR !!!!
My (notso) secret santa, our darling Addlepated, took my wish list gift of a one-time visit to the museum and gave me a whole year! Everyone here knows how much I love museums. I am so happy with this unexpected gift.
Plus she sent me another package which I haven't opened yet. I'm saving that one for Christmas!
Thank you so much! I'm heading over there tomorrow! I'll use my membership card to head to the front of the line.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
PS. To anyone who visits us ARGers in New York: with my membership card I can get you a $5.00 admission to MOMA. I expect to see many of you in the next year. We can go see Starry Night, the Waterlillies and Les Mademoiselles d'Avignon and many, many more.

Yay! I am so happy you got it! Use it in good health.
If I make it up your way in the next year, I'll take you up on that offer!

My Secret Santa (who I will keep a Secret, although I know who it is) sent me a wonderful t-shirt, which I will wear on an upcoming netcast for sure, and a six DVD set full of cool videos, including the Poseidon Adventure miniseries. Thanks!!!

So, today I went out to get my mail... On my way back into the house, i noticed a package stuck off to the side. I almost missed it. I leaned down to pick it up, and saw the return address - from DAVE! My friend Liss says she could hear me squeek from inside the house!
I must say, I was super excited Dave was my Sekrit Santa. We all know what a Fangrrl I am.
Dave put together a swag box for me... I will post pics & info a little later tonight {my camera battery is dead, and i'm NOT using my iPhone for this!
Liss thinks I am nuts right now, heh, but I must say... The fact alone that it was Dave was the

ghosts of secret santa's past So, I was decorating my Christmas tree. I found the ornament that Celina sent me from Hawaii for the first unfiction secret santa. This is becoming a nice holiday tradition.
Thanks again Addie for organizing this.

Hey guys - I will be away from reliable internet (eek!) from 12/27-1/5, so if you need to get a message to your recipient or your Santa, please let me know before then.
If you've hit a snag, don't panic. Just let me know and we'll work it out.
If you're a recipient who has not gotten anything by Twelfth Night or so and have not heard from your Santa, please contact me so we can be sure there wasn't a hitch in your getalong.
I hope everyone's enjoying a fabulous Christmas, Yule, Hanukkah, Festivus, and New Year!
