 One False Note and more
I need to get my hands on one!!! and here's a idea to comment on

All this talk about one false note is kind of depressing me. Crying or Very sad

I'll probably have to wait for christmas to get one. (i hate having to spend MY money on gifts for OTHER people, who probably don't need to junk i give them any way Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad ). i think the entire world would be better if I could by ME presents, and YOU could buy YOU presents. i know it is the thought that counts, and all that, but i think everyone would be happy with what they got, instead of flooding the WALMART returns counter.

Actually, (this is wierd, i'm changing my mind mid-post) I like it this way, because i could never afford all the stuff my relatives give me Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Trout Exclamation
I know i posted this theory earlier, but i'm just reiterating. I think that there might be "waves" of clues kind of like the cards. Like all the first wave is elements and what not, the second wave (with the second wave of cards) might be in what amounts, and so on.

this also runs with my question/theory about the book covers. In MoB and OFN, you can see a part of the next cover on that cover. however, as far as i can tell, this is not evident on the third book's cover.

see for your self!

Unless the little logo thingy at the top is covering it, i don't see how it is possible for there to be another tie-in. Shifty Eyes It is probably like the cards; each "set" of covers tie into one and other.

I have coaxed my friend into giving me his surveillence camera code, and will post it tomorro

Codes

I thought only one person could use the codes except for surveillance cards. Did I miss a trick or something?

Sharable Codes

As of now, the only "sharable card codes" are the Surveillance card and the #400 cards.

You can get the codes for the 400 cards by following this link:

The only possible connection I see is the sword on the right side of the OFN combining with what appears to be a sword blade on the left side of TST. If you look closely, you will even see bits of shattered glass around the "sword blade" on TST (kind of like the shattered glass on OFN).

Just a thought. Rolling Eyes

Off topic BUT, one thing that really bugs me is on the "CLIQUEME" profile pages. Under every character's "applications" it lists the same thing:

Photos (2)
Top Cliques (6)
Articles (2)
Links (1)
Enemies (14)

Has anyone else noticed this? Why do you think this is? Hmmmm...??? I don't think this has been mentioned before, but if it has, I apologize. I really do try to keep up with all the posts, but sometimes "real life" gets in the way, lol.

Adagio

Dosido wrote:
On the inside cover/first page of OFN, where we see the notes spell GIDEON - is there something to the ARy or A4y letters/numbers at the upper left of the glass fragment?
I looked at it last night with poor light - forgot to check it out this morning again.

I think what you're seeing are the letters "Adag," which presumably stands for "Adagio," an Italian musical term indicating the tempo. I'm not sure if there is more to it than that, though it is odd that a clue of sorts (Gideon) comes with a tempo marking when there aren't any other markings on the other glass shards.

 Book linking

If any one has read my theory on page 80 or 81 this will add to it.

The "wave" effect on the book covers adds to my theory, because so far Amy & Dan have entered a Cahill branch base, so using the base entering and curculation around that branch, it backs my togetherness theory. No one complain about it, after all this is a children book series. Very Happy

Cards 69-72

Has anyone noticed that on cards 69-72 they all feature the number 39? And the coin is ingraved with

I think it's a very good tie in with the fact that the hunt has been on for so long, and the coin is in possibly latin.

List of Theroies

I am considering going trough and trying to categorize theories and information from this thread. Then I guess I can post or link to it. Due credit given of course. Any objections?

Re: The Fiske Connection

I'm guessing Fiske is the Starlings Grandfather. Just 1 more thing: all teams have been ID by branch except Amy (Ekat?), Dan(Tomas?) & the Starlings. SO AT THIS TIME, I believe Fiske is alive, the Starlings grandfather, a Madrigal, & the Man in Black.

Sounds more than plausible to me about Ned. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!! Very Happy

As far as Dan and Amy, I believe that their branch is CAHILL. The founder card for Cahill is Grace, so I believe that be a new branch that she founded.
Which could provide support to Kapow512's theory:
Quote:
I thought my first theory was very true, my therory was that the legenday POWER OF THE CAHILLS was the ability to work together. OR mix, much like the elements are together on a table, and can mix with each other.

That would also explain the family crest Grace had--a giant C surround by the other for branch signs.

PS I am going to go work on scanning and uploading the Clue Finder Guide pages to the wikibruce site. Thanks for all your ideas and help.[/quote]

There are 2 Bullseyes on card #52, Annie Oakley. Another interesting thing about that card....it looks like all the bullets came through from the back of the pictures Question Question Question

While I was checking out cards, I noticed #19 has a 39 in Roman Numerals on the back.

Also I thought #54 The Northern Race was interesting. of the two whole sleds and dogs teams seen, the one that looks to be carrying less weight, 1 person, has more dogs than the one that 2 people. What do you think Question

This is called marketing. Scholastic hasn't released the title yet. Do you honestly think they would release a picture of the cover of book 3 with the tie-in to book 4 on it? When book 3 comes out, it will probably be there, but it wouldn't be there now. The white painted "wind-like" pattern goes through it just like on the other two books. If you go to any of the online book shops, you will also notice, book 3 is also shot from the side, not head on like books 1 and 2.

It all builds the suspense.

Music

If you look at the link I posted earlier for Mozart's Adagio and Rondo KV 617, go to page 4. You will see in the second stanza of hte music that the part for hte oboe is hte musical shard with Marie Antoinette's face in it.

I would also guess that we are looking at two different scores here. No where in that score are there "double notes".

My theory, and some clarifications about it
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

First, i know latin (dead language, i know), and i can confirm that triginta novem means thirty nine in latin. You probably already knew that, but I'm just verifying this.

second: FLgata

I'm sorry Embarassed , I didn't mean that the 2nd and 3rd books don't tie into each other, i was saying that i can't seem to see a connection between the third book and whatever the fourth book is. i did see the shards you were talking about Very Happy .

Third: katsmom

Point taken, and i had considered that in making my theory, but i seem to remember the sword in the 2nd book's cover before it was released (i freely admit that I very could be wrong).

also, you said something about the lucians and janus using the same codes. What do you mean???! Confused

Look at card 17, and card 405. the secret codes are the same. If you click on the <go> button you will get to the codes.

Mission 2

Anybody has an idea when mission 2 is going to be available? It has been a week and a half since the release of OFN.
