A Quick Puzzle III
A Veritable Brain Twister

Here I am sitting in our warehouse, barely shipping 2-3 packages a day, and it is supposed to be christmas season.

How I miss those days so long ago when I used to play and laugh as a child without responsibilities. I feel so disconnected, seperated, torn apart, like nothing makes sense anymore.

Ah just listen to me whine you would think life was made of vinegar instead of honey.

PRIZE: first person to solve this puzzle gets the tool used to encode/decode this puzzle.

Made it as far as decoding the 2 text files with their respective keys, but am stymied as to the method used for the next level of encryption.

Decrypted "msg1.txt":

EDIT:
Apparently there was an error in one of the files. The new decrypt is:

(Breaks added by moi)

Regarding the tool...
Have you ever tried this one?

No I haven't tried that one yet.

The tool at the beginning of this puzzle is just a file I keep local on my drive so I do not need to connected to the net when converting binary.

There is another encrypter/decrypter file available but you have to solve the puzzle first Very Happy

It specifically makes what you are currently looking at a breeze.

Letter frequencies look like it could be simple substitution.
But I don't do well on the ones without spaces or where they were replaced and it's all longer words.
MrToasty might have a go at it, though. He has a knack for those.

But, I have no idea how to use it.
Any ballroom dancers in the house?

I am fairly sure it is not what you think it is.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You are missing a character for the cha cha... read the note from Dan Calloway on the link you provide... then think about what your 2 msg files should be doing... if necessary reread the opening clues

I wasn't really committed to anything. The letters came from the entries on the linked page.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's a cipher with a key:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"ajtiy"

But I'll have to try that at home, later.

don not rollover the spoiler if you are still working on this:

To solve:

ANSWER:

Epitaph on an Army of Mercenaries

THESE, in the day when heaven was falling
The hour when earth's foundations fled,
Followed their mercenary calling,
And took their wages, and are dead.

Their shoulders held the sky suspended;
They stood, and earth's foundations stay;
What God abandoned, these defended,
And saved the sum of things for pay.
