And at sirpoins tweet reply offering a solution to end his misery.

Heh. Santa still hasn't reinstated the stupid holiday, despite Sugar Loser's efforts. It's time to think of the best vacation spot! Yes!
Pretty sure there are some more than nice new decorations on TEH Tree since I last looked anyway.

Santa's Blog Update
Quote:
Well, little elves, I know you must be thinking that the tree looks pretty good. It is nice to know that a few people have the Christmas Spirit. But a few people having the Spirit is just that: nice. It does not mean that I have changed my mind about canceling Christmas!
Oh, sure, I am missing the excitement of the days leading up to Christmas Eve but not enough to get out there and mess with a holiday that so few people even enjoy anymore!
Looks like there's still more work to do. I've got one or two more tasks in progress. How is everyone else doing?

I'd like to say that I'm working on more of my tasks, but I've been up to my eyeballs in books and papers and such. DARN YOU FINALS! I'll probably be able to get re-started after I get back home Thursday night.
I did get to send in a picture of me and my roomie's tree (it's the one with Santa!Jack on the top )

Saki--<3 your tree pic. It was so cute and the Whiskars Story is one of the most beautifully written Cmas stories evah .

@Saki --- i agree, it was SO cute.
@amandel --- I'm glad you enjoyed hearing about Whiskey. She was, without a doubt, the best thing that ever happened to me.

Also liked your story Vawood and the trees Saki and amandel.
I'd planned to decorate a tree in public with the help of random people, but the weather won't be cooperating this week for paper snowflakes. So I decided to write a poem instead. And I hope to add a pic of kitty in Christmas outfit on Wednesday (if said cat is in the mood!).
ETA: Amandel, just saw your gingerbread cookie, which is almost the biggest cookie I've ever seen and adorable, too. Bet your neighbor was happy to receive it.

@Tres--prolly needed one that large to keep Jasper sweet while snapping his Cmas pic so good luck with your kitty **snicker, always sounds naughty**. I hope the all pet pix make THE Tree and maybe I'll still make some "task" cookies.
Some of my tasks made TEH Tree, some did not yet it's been fun....things I would have done or thought about anyway but prolly not commited to keyboard or camera except Jasper of course. Did want to record "Silver Bells" but that wouldn't be realistic as I'm still healing and would sound like Kermit, the frog atm.
Don't know why Santa is still in a funk. Maybe we need to rekindle some light in SneakyDoodle? I <3 all the sentiments behind the ornaments....wish he did too. Reading the true sentiments behind someone's words is key at Cmas. Sorta my only and final task report as family Cmas is priority uno after Thurs.

amandel, your ornaments are beautiful. I suspect that Sugar Plum wants to give everyone who was sent an envelope time to do the suggested tasks. I trust that Santa can make it happen at whatever point he's shown everything we've done.
Haha about the kitty! He's generally the most laid-back creature imaginable and doesn't fuss over being in costume. Still, when one is dealing with cats, one can never be sure if they'll go along with the plan.

SugarPlum is working overtime. TEH Tree is filled with pretties. While what I saying yesterday was that it really doesn't matter if all ones tasks find their way to the tree, I admit to an enormous HOOT! when I just saw Jasber in costume there...
Where? Well, just check them all out which is what I'm still doing. THX SuperPlum.! Very Kewl to a descriptive LOL poem also.

I can happily confirm that the international letters have indeed been posted.
The secret code at the back of the Random Acts booklet is snowman, holly, snowflake, wreath, sleigh, stocking, tree, bell, sleigh.
Here are my Random Acts:Make snowflakes and display them somewhere or use them in an unusual way create a short Christmas film tell us why a friend of yours deserves to get what they want for Christmas watch a Christmas movie and give a review write a Christmas story or poem
Quote:
English Crackers
paper towel tubes
wrapping paper
ribbon
candy
trinkets
1. Cut the paper towel tubes in half and fill with candy and trinkets.
2. Wrap in colored paper and secure each end with ribbon. Present on plates at dinner time for a festive surprise.
As it happens, I've made Christmas crackers/bon bons before. My favourite part is the snap-pull in the middle which go BANG! when pulled. I bought a bundle at a craft store a few years ago. I should be able to post photos early next week.

Bah. The Tree doesn't look THAT good. People are getting all excited about nothing.

Glitter at my workstation. Glitter! Sugar Loser shouldn't snoop at Xmas. She must think the rules don't apply since it's still CANCELLED
@Tres:noticed above one of the Random Acts is "Make snowflakes and display them" so you'll get to use yours afterall.
