Yesterday was incredible. DOR French inspired cooking, memories of happier days. Had duck confit, so delicious I leveled up. Today is Cajun

I wonder if it works old-school Castlevania style. I was always a little disturbed when Simon Belmont would eat an old turkey leg he found hidden inside a dirty moldy castle wall.

I think you mean "finely aged for peak flavor" turkey leg lol. I've played a lot of video games and food has usually been a power up or temporary stat enhancer or in the case of WoW it's also a way to earn some minor achievements but I've never played a game where the food itself caused you to level. Weirdness.

The way they spell "Dide Eate" has been bothering me since it first appeared. I realize that that's the way it was spelled in the poem in the book, but it strikes me as an intentional misspelling.

I searched anagrams for "chuck dide eate" and didn't come up with anything. Although it's maybe worth noting that you can spell "Duke" out of the letters.

Do you think Big Vision is directly related to his dreams caused by the food?

Probably not, but it could have this whole Super Mario 2 ending where it was all a dream... okay maybe not Cool

I do think though that we should probably look for something having to do with Big Vision.

Waiters, one for each guest, appeared from out the curtains, each carrying a covered plate. They stood motionless behind us. half a minute ago from web

I wonder why he's spacing out the story like this.
