Perfect work
Afterwards it seems logic that it is realted to ETI and Carls Sagan, but it did not come into my mind after listening to this music.
How have you found it?

I stumbled upon it when looked up different bag pipe types on wikipedia and searched for corresponding listening examples on youtube.

Just want to check in here and mention that The Transfer Station is being updated in real-time now and that our findings are being discussed there.
Also, great job finding that, Trillian. You saved me a ton of time trying to edit that mp3 file as an attempt to produce something new for the puzzle, when it turns out to be only a slightly-edited version of a song....

ROFL
There should be a word for the moment at which someone goes missing in an ARG.
"OH NOE OUR PRINCESS BE IN ANOTHER CASTLEZ"
Looks like the transfer station got updated again too, mentioning a "Foster", even.

Okay, there's a real Lt. Darryl Qualls of the Pasadena Police Department. (Here we go with the real people again...)
He's mentioned a few times in various news articles and things:
http://articles.latimes.com/1998/feb/23/news/mn-22267
http://www.noblenatl.org/displayindustryarticle.cfm?articlenbr=26092
http://www.pasadenaweekly.com/cms/story/detail/the_extra_step/5993/
The first article (LA Times) is actually from 1998, when the article we just got was purported to have been published.

There is another Foster connected to Sagan.
Jodie foster in the movie Contact.
Maybe the sphere is real and foster is the one that went and used it.
maybe he died in the process?

Don't post anything else here. I have reason to believe I've been compromised. I will contact you again via some other means.
I'm wondering what made him suspicious.

Erm. That might have been me?
I mentioned Dr. Lewis in my Re: Name That Tune e-mail. Got a message from sourcesSPLATstareightsix.com this morning reading only the following.
Quote:
How did you know about Lewis? Fuck.
So. My bad?
And maybe Lewis has to do with whatever the next step is?

LOL. I guess the only way you could have known about Lewis was by reading the email backups.
I don't think Mister Star Eight Six/Michael Getz knew anyone broke into the Jay-Bill intranet and read the backup dump of his emails.

No, the other possibiltiy hwo someone could know about Dr. Lewis is the X-Fer-Station. And that is exactly why Michael things that place is not safe anymore.
TheParthenon, don' worry. That's how player's behaviour influences the story in args and that's why I like args.

Yes of course. We did so.
But from the view of Michael someone just has found out about the X-Fer-Station. There could be several possibilities how someone could have found this place.
