I was laughing so hard. The day before, I tweeted this to Chuck:

Quote:
@ChuckDideEate Oh, so you're going to try my culture's cuisine now! Don't forget to sample some boudain and gumbo, 'chere. Also, crawfish!

I was gone during all of his tweets, so now I come back to read them and it amuses me. I tweeted this to him today:

Quote:
@ChuckDideEate You had crawfish after all! I'm sorry it was so spicy. Maybe try mild flavor next time.

Poor Chuck!

New set of Tweets from Chuck:

Ham-burger day sucked. You call those Ham-burgers? Still trying to track down Voltaire to make him pay for dry cleaning. Back in Milwaukee.

Also, I had another dream on the rail back to town. In it, I was playing basketball against a ghost.

I took it to the hole (naturally) but as I drove, the spirit denied the shot with a well-executed block off the backboard. I was embarrassed less

The ball rolled off the court and under a table, so I had to get it. From under the table. Which is where it was.

Also in my dream I was naked but I don't think that's consequential.

And we're pretty sure these recent tweets are in regards to our fumbled dead drop. :/

Fumbled is a strong word... Something was overlooked, possibly. It'll be rectified soon, no doubt about it.

So, this is completely un-related, but still kinda on topic. A while ago, someone posted a video of Chuck on YouTube doing stand-up comedy. I found this one in a related search - and all I can say is bizzare..

Also, apparently he has a nickname of "the jux" ..

definitely bizzare. I didn't see anything but a couple of coincidences myself (Chuck knowing a lot about a lot of people, and the "very pretty girl" comment)...

I honestly don't feel it'd directly related - unless you can see some specific points

No, I don't think it's related at all - just a nice break from the brain fry I'm getting from the game. Seeing the Duke smoke a bit of ganja was pretty funny..

Any chance that's linked to the tables and stuff on p26 and 27 of the M:ARH book? Maybe there's something we didn't "get" from under one of the images?

Admittedly, the things under the images don't seem to really point at... well, anything. And I can't imagine how it might link to the cafe drop, which hasn't been a way into a doleful city, it certainly isn't simple and direct, and there wasn't really a long walk involved.

Maybe it's just a coincidence in wording, but I figured I'd bring it up anyway.

That was my thought, but how does one look "under" that kind of table? And anyway, Chuck has confirmed that we were right about the cafe. His "the spirit denied" line, to me, is a definite confirmation that this is where we are supposed to look, that this wasn't just some red herring. It's quite possible that the tables do come back into play, but I don't see how they could have anything to do with this puzzle and the dead drop.

So most likely, some OOG person came by and snatched up what we're looking for (either knowingly or not), or else the waitress is IG and we have to either approach her the right way or look when she is there. Though it's clear to me that the waitress in the dream is Mars Madison, the amount of description and the fact that a REAL waitress at the cafe fits that description leads one to believe that the waitress is important.

There are nine words on the tape and nine in the "review verify bonus?" section of the video, and the capitalized letters on the tape are a anagam for A DATA GRID.
Maybe just a coincidence. If he did mean "under the table on the left," maybe it has something to do with the caption.

Just a thought.

I love the acknowledgment that they read this forum. We finally got the drop, no need to go on another Cajun acid trip Chuck!
