I've attached the compilation of 3 overlaid images, each connected by two points for orientation as best as I could put it. (having now received the torn sheet from the SanFran drop)

1) the diamond and triangle match the fax with the gratitude drop
2) the 2 and 7 match the gratitude drop with MARH-p26

Wait... I'm soooo confused right now. Where did all this information come from? Did someone return to the Cafe?

Ok... not sure if I'm seeing patterns where there aren't any, or forcing New York to fit my expectations, but:

We might be looking in Central Park. Here's what I've found; feel free to prove me wrong (see images below).

-84th street is in the upper left corner (84 on the grid)
-Toward the center, left to right, can be found the Turtle Pond, the Art Museum (Metropolitan), and the Upper East Side (T, A, U on grid)
-There's a 'Divergent Road' in right about the same place as the divergent lines on the grid
-Most all New York City streets runs at the same angle as those three angled parallel lines on the grid.
-There are two circular paths/structures in lower left of the park pic (matching the two zeros on the grid)
-The 'X marks the spot' on the grid could represent the field/commons next to the art museum(?)

Now, this doesn't account for EVERYTHING. But if it were a hand drawn map, it does a pretty good job representing the park.

Discuss Very Happy

Also, Jacqueline Onassis Reservoir lines up with 2010. Jackie O married Onassis on 20/10 (Oct 20).

Seems solid to me.

Nice, the 2010 thing was driving me crazy. (Jackie O Reservoir is the big unlabeled body of water at the top of the image above)

This didn't come out as nicely as I had intended, but I wanted to duplicate thebruce's image and incorporate the whole table on MARH-p26.

The SF drop image that Brunobruno uploaded does not depict a perfectly flat piece of paper, but it's good enough that you can tell it's probably an 8 1/2 x 11" piece of paper, and the diamond on the fax almost lines up precisely if you align the corners of both the fax and the SF map.

There's a little bit more tweaking I'd like to do, but it's enough for now.

wow, heck of a job - for us visual learners could you place the map over the NYC photo? And could we assume either a gathering or another drop will be at the 'X'?

Another overlay

Not that I'm getting much out of it --

I played with the colour levels on the new map because I thought I saw something, but probably the paper was just wet (or greasy).

Worth noting too: Terry Nanny and the Treasure Hunter are standing in/around baseball fields at the end of the main video- the field in Central Park that I suggested the 'X' might represent is full of baseball diamonds.

Do the circle, triangle and star fit into the map?

and as a play on words, the "Treasure Hunter" looks for treasure: ruby, gems, DIAMONDS - baseball diamonds???

(I know I'm stretching, but i feel as though I haven't contributed much)

GMcG in IRC also mentioned dig could = dugout. So if anyone goes to Central Park, be sure to check the dugouts.

Any clue what to look for?
