I really like this interpretation. I just had it in my mind that there had to be another woman. A queen or just a powerful person in the town. Somoneone who spoke for the town, but this makes much more sense.
I'm just trying to make the most sense I can out of something that does not make much sense to me. This is one of those cases where I simply don't know what's intended. Even when I think of them as separate entities, "...dressed as the town" leaves me shaking my head.

Wow, I didn't pick up on that at all. I think I just assumed it was static and tuned it out.
That's interesting, other videos have had water or rain sound through them as well.
But no, that wasn't what I meant. There's another faint recurring sound. You can hear it best just after he says 'witch of monoco'. But I'm pretty sure it's all the way through it as well.
It's probably nothing but I might check out this Audacity program and give it a whack.
Thanks.

Channel Description Songwraith changed his YouTube channel description from:
Welcome to the Echelon
to: Welcome to Bangor.
Interesting...what could it mean? Do we have to go to Bangor, Maine now?
Songwraith's last YT login was 2 days ago, but no new videos.

Well there are only a few Bangors in the US.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangor
I'm going to guess that we are either looking at Bangor ME (I'm just partial to that because I'm from Maine.) Or Bangor NY because it is very close to Canada and it seems like our PM is based out of there.
EDIT: Also another possibility:

City of Bangor was a ship that sailed around the great lakes.

Hey all, new to this one. Just had an idea about Bangor. I'm a pretty big Stephen King fan, and I remember that a few of his books (Insomnia comes to mind) are set in the town of Derry, which is apparently his idea of Bangor. In fact, most of his fictional towns are based in Maine. Could Stephen King be Bangor's book-keeper?

Welcome FractalP and nice work on that connection. I think it's safe to say that King's work is a significant influence on the writer, but the hints never advanced us in the other story. Here's the wiki page on Derry:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derry_ (Stephen_King)
ETA: Don't know why these pages didn't link properly, but you need to copy all of that to get to the right page. The reference to his short story "The Bird and The Album" caught my attention. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insomnia_ (novel)

I'm not sure if it's totally dead or what. There were a couple of months of inactivity, then the message about Bangor and the Book-keeper about a month ago. It almost feels like we've missed something, but I've been over everything again and again to no avail. I guess we wait. But I don't think it's totally dead yet.

My first thought about Bangor was that it meant Maine. Book-keeper could refer to an accountant or a library or a person who has a particular book. I did think the leathery page likely was a book cover. While doing some searching I found that there's also a Bangor in PA: http://www.bangorlibrary.org/ as well as the one in ME: http://www.bpl.lib.me.us/ That was interesting to me because the page thebruce found was from some place south of Boston. Yet, it's not enough to propel us forward as far as I can tell.

Yeah, I was exploring other Bangors for a while too. Most interestingly, I found a John Galt who wrote some newspaper articles in Bangor, PA. I think he's just some guy with an unfortunate name, though.
I began to think recently that this all may have had something to do with the movie, "Echelon Conspiracy" that came out recently, and was universally panned. I hope that's not connected. The movie has zero percent on Rotten Tomatoes right now.
From a synopsis of that movie, though, I don't see how they can be connected.
I sent a message to Songwraith a week or two ago, basically asking if we needed to keep looking or keep waiting at this point. I never heard back. I'll post here if I do, of course.

A message from Songwraith! I received a reply from Songwraith today:
Quote:
No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.
584 upon the door.
I think the first part just means the game is on. The second part... my first guess is it's an address.
Edit: Found an address:
Betts Bookstore
584 Hammond St, Bangor, ME
http://www.bettsbooks.com/
ETA: Wow, I just checked out the Betts Bookstore website. The store is practically dedicated to Stephen King. I guess that is to be expected from a small bookstore in Bangor.

Nice work Pavoreax. Since it's your find do you want to contact the store and see if songwraith left any sort of message or package? It could well be a drop.
