Mad Props, Shad0... very nicely done.

Shocked Silly

i will be going to the Garland, TX axon tomorrow... if anyone else is going to be there, look for me, and say hi... i've got a red ford ranger (lifted, lots of aftermarket work, it's hard to miss)

and the memphis, TN is being covered by another www.xgamefusion.com member, griddrunner....

we're taking pictures and notes, we'll let you know what we find... but i gotta go to sleep, it's 3:15 am, and i have a job interview in a few hours that i'll have to cut short to be at my axon...

Good luck, Happy hunting....

Hopefully there're a few other people near the Baltimore area, as I'm chickenwuss (too inexperienced, y'see), and won't have any transport to any of the axon points anyway. Crying or Very sad But I'm going to be sticking to here and ilovebees.com juuust in case something should go down.

Well lessee... I've got about a total of 1 day of work done in the past 3 weeks... lost a couple nights of sleep while organizing and adding to the wiki and keeping up on discussions... set myself up for world of hurt in overtime work to make up for my lack of real work...

but on the bright side, I've been inspired anew!

but on the dark side, if this goes on to November 9, I'll be a very very scared man... if it weren't for job security, I'd be paining myself...

Quote:
How excited are you about tomorrow?

Depends on what aspect of tomorrow you mean... the influx of trout? I'm not a fisherman... the influx of newbies? I'm not mob-control... the possibility of a halo demo or early release? I'll kill everyone who said it would happen before they can even think 'I told you so' Razz...

Well it's 4:22am, and I'm only up because I fell asleep on my couch watching olympics and I'm about go to bed. Does it say anything that I'm going through all the new forum posts since my last login at this time?

What are your hopes for ILoveBees in the next few months?

I hope they'll pay me for all the work I've not been doing at my job...
I hope this wasn't a game to separate the honest workers from the game players...
I hope my boss isn't a PM...

But most of all, I hope Dana and Melissa live happily ever afte! (not together)

That really was such a brilliant poem Smile Magical!

For me, the bees have meant little to no sleep, so it's not really a change it's just the regular ARG-man's way of life.

It sucks horribly to pull an all nighter, which, now that I think about it, served no purpose. Anyone else find themselves staying up all night?
Yah, well, it made me paranoid as hell. A helicopter flew by and it seemed wicked low, I thought the door bell was going to ring and bees would start killing me and my family! First and last unneeded all nighter.

I stayed up till 4:30 to attend the moderator chat we had last night to discuss possible forum regulations for today, then had 4 hours of sleep, and now I'm back up modding the forums in the pre-axon "frenzy" Smile

Shad0, kudos on that poem... awesome!

My GF is herself a closet geek. And I explained it mostly from a story telling perspective. Since my work & play requires me to be online nearly 24 hours a day anyway, so while I might seem hyper-active on the forums, it's actually just a casual distraction while the right side of the brain solves some other problem.

I have hopes this will turn out to be a cool interactive event. Hoping it fits into the storyline well, hoping it lends into something else. I have some doubts about it though, and if it turns out to be jars of honey or MS interns, I'll be pretty disappointed.

Story, story, story. Some fiendish puzzles would be nice, but if they are done in sake of the story or ILB gets more hype than puzzle, then I'm likely outta here.

At 3AM we got the most bizarro wrong number call. You could hear these odd audible clicks in the background and this odd voice just repeating "Hello" way too long. Half-asleep I did think, "OK, if this is an axon, I'm calling the cops"
