[GENERAL/TRIVIA] Notes and Speculation

So a friend of mine pointed me in the direction of TIMM and after doing a bit of searching on Google I found this forum. So I've been lurking for a couple days and have some thoughts and notes I've jotted down. I feel that there's still more to get out of the video.

Also, I'd be grateful if anyone can expand on any of these thoughts, present their own thoughts and speculation or point out definite dead ends in the notes I'm posting.

What I've got so far:

According to TIMM flare guns are used to kill GoDSEED fragments, and the teen with the flare gun used it to kill multiple fragments at once? Is this simply the way it was illustrated or does killing GoDSEED fragments have something to do with light? Also, rebreathers are used for scubadiving (a simple google search for rebreathers makes that pretty clear) implying one can't breath the air when GoDSEEDs are around.

The reoccurring plant bulb appears to be fennel which has been mentioned more than once now. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fennel#Appearance)

Mars Madison mentions COOL DOG as being on a Milwaukee TV show.COOL DOG is written on one of the pictures of a fennel bulb in the Activity Place

robot arm shows up in two slides, the one mentioned frequently and again in slide at 7:43

has American culture fragmented after the disaster? ham burger, lasagna, dance troop doing a commercial from 2006, the setlist primarily consisting of references to american popculture.

towards the end Terry Nanny tells us something along the lines of "needed a new god, started to build, didn't notice nature withering around us, sarcaphagus, pharoh's burial, tomb, who will this new god pray to?" Is spirituality involved somehow? egyptian (pharoh's tomb) or greek (fennel) mythology? why bury godseed with treasures?

Chinese spoken in second video, oriental couple in slideshow as the VO mentions repopulation. Relevant?

Notes on end credits;

Dunno if any of this is important. I'm guessing it's mostly dead ends, but Nims turned up twice, once for Martin Pedrick and once in the interview with Alex Schott. Not sure if this is important.

at 9:42 there's a comic of Jagoda touching a black figure which disintigrates and he proceeds to eat a pastry. was the dark figure a GoDSEED fragment? Jogada has been said to have a high power level.

I'm guessing cool dog (Jethro in the credits) is the dog wearing those silly sunglasses (being the only dog in the film, pictured at 00:40 and again at 9:51 in the credits). What is the relevance of COOL DOG?

at 10:03 figure digging, glowing eyes, many glowing fennel bulbs.

End song lyrics refer to flax seed blossom milk as being oil rich and milky (relevant?)

I'd just like to add that when it says "Champion Dynasty," what is actually sung is "Soldiers Millennium".

I originally thought the lyrics were 'soldiers millennium' as well, but after listening to it several times I'm pretty sure she's just saying ' slow jazz millennium' again.

About the thing with Jagoda killing a GSF in the credits:

If this was a D20 RPG, I'd say that Jagoda would be using Power Word: Kill with the way he looks like he's yelling in the second panel. Just some trivia.

Personally I like to think he's burping food breath, and the go.d.s.e.e.d. fragment looking thing is like nooooooooo and dies.

So uh, I've looked around and I haven't noticed any mention of it anywhere else.

Has anyone else stumbled across this?: http://www.individual.com/story.php?story=92563152

It was to my knowledge posted somewhere early in the mega 90 pages long thread.

Back then it was kinda scary because it was almost implying there wasn't anything more to this than just that, commercial for milwaukee -_-

either way, it seems to be the only part of the text that doesn't match up with the lyrics - significance? yes, led us to another dead end.

It is the link to the Champion Dynasty Defense Fund found through a phone convo to the MTC. http://mymilwaukee.wikibruce.com/CDDF

[observation/speculation] ?

Cool Dog - could Cool Dog be the "new god" Terry says they needed to "build" in the video?

also Lost starts in Jan. and that clock timer counts down to JAn. we figurerd so maybe its Lost, maybe its the smoke monster?

The most likely one is he's an animator -- he's credited for this thing on YouTube ("Onward to Calgary") but it looks pretty OOG.

Some are speculating that TIMM is viral ad for a new Wild Arm (http://www.wildarms5.com/) game. I dunno though, it doesn't entirely fit to me.

That seems like a really big stretch to me. The story sounds nothing like what we've heard from TIMM up to this point other than them losing their memory.

Watch the trailer for Barkley Shut up and Jam Gaiden on youtube and tell me that this kind of RPG-like world that is being built up by Russo and others wouldn't fit in with a Tales of Games Studios game. It's post-apocalyptic, plus the strange sense of humor that is present in the This is My Milwaukee video.

I know that Shut up and Jame Gaiden was pretty popular so I wouldn't be surprised if they got offers from bigger companies for something.
