@Mod Re Flux - In my opinion, the second one has too many friends to be an IG character. I sent a message to the third one... let's see what I get for a reply.

I have been in contact with our Ambassador. He is unaware of the security threat, and is ok... for now. Since I suck at code, can someone contact Bryce and let him know we have found our man?

Looks like we were talking about the same profile and didnt realize it. Ill whip up a coded email to Bryce. On a side note, does anyone know of a way to automate the encryption/decryption of the code style he uses?

I was out for a work-xmas-thing, so I didn't get to check my email yesterday, so it's a good thing Mod Re Flux got it too. Saves me from decoding it

Based on the clue Im thinking that it has something to do with either Martin's names or the name of someone who he has contact already. Based on the "5 Long Years of Primary School" perhaps it has something to do with the 5 in the code.
I tried a vigenere cipher with the keywords "Martin" and "Bryce" to no avail.
I also see the word "SNEAK" and "ONE" in the code, dont know if that helps at all.

Based on the mention of "route" in the post, I'd say this is a transposition cipher, like railfence or another generic route cipher. Frequency analysis also supports that this is transposition. Martin's name could also possibly play a role in the sloution. You can see 'RYCE' in the second row, but it could just be coincidence.

Got an email from the ambassadors are in danger with this image attached. Not stegged as far as I can tell, played with the colors and contrast, still nothing. Anyone else get one? Looks like a jigsaw puzzle.

The picture so far... Just so I have a reason to say hello, here's how the picture is fitting together so far (all the pieces on the left are awaiting matches):
I've been out of ARG for awhile but am looking forward to getting started again with this one! I look forward to working with you all.

Bryce tells us in the blog entry he is using a route cipher ("we had to learn everything by route ") and drops some other clues as to how to decipher it. I haven't figured it out yet, but here are some clues I think are important:
"Five long years of primary school..."
In order to use the route cipher properly, we need to rearrange the text in a predetermined grid. Is this saying the grid should be five rows (or columns) long? Using five as a divisor against the total number of letters, it works out nicely to 33 letters per line (or column). Perhaps just coincidence, but I think not.
"...start by putting your name in the correct place..."
I think this may be a clue as to how the letters are routed in the cipher. Once the grid is correctly arranged, we should look for Bryce's name to stand out -- or, rather, look for the combination "4FLKC5" since we know that to be his name. Interestingly, line 2 letters 1-3, line 3 letter 4, and line 4 letters 5-6 combine to spell "5CKLF4," or our correct combination when read backwards. So, the letters we need are in there...just need to figure out the correct arrangement.
"But it still felt like the world was closing in on me."
I haven't figured out this clue at all, but it's got to mean something...it just sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm thinking it must be a clue to tell us how to read the cipher once the letters are rearranged...maybe if we can find the word "world" we'll be able to see the pattern required to read the rest of the message? Maybe "claustrophobia" is a key of some sort? At this point, I have no idea.
Just some thoughts....

well here's what I've got compiled so far from 3, 6, 8 and 9
