If you have read all the posts (which I seriously doubt, you would know that we already have the clues....therefore, we owe you....Nothing.

We wondered if anyone would stop us? oh well. maybe next time Wink

But, I did get a reply from Scholastic on George. I sent off an email saying that I had tried it on at least 5 other computers and friends had tried it as well but that it links to nowhere. Their answer is:
Quote:
We are forwarding your concern to our technical team for further investigation.
Who knows, maybe they will fix it. And Ekatprof, the link you gave is the one you get when you are in the cards. I am looking for the one from the "Cahill web" search function. It is just odd to me that it doesn't work.

card 60

I'm siding with Maggie on this one . If I got a 60, I could get decent money. But I got lucky and Wind Lane traded a 60 with me for the last 3 cards he needed. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

card 60

I agree with all concerned. card 60 is valuable. I think unless it were being traded for a large number of cards, or as in Windlane's case the last of the set, it wouldn't be a good trade. They are fetching high prices on ebay right now.

I'm on a number of forums and no one listens to card 60 NOT being sharable, so here's my number! Try it! See for yourself! You can't use it!
479TP4MJF2.

I've posted this in the hopes that it won't be asked for again. Rolling Eyes Not that that will happen. The search button seems to be too small for most people.

mail in codes index.
Should/could/will we make one?

Is it possible for us to make a database of the enty codes for cards? I've heard people say that the last 2 or 3 symbols of of each code are unique. when i searched the forum and didn't find anything, i assumed that this hasn't been brought up, but i may have missed it. I think this could be beneficial to some people looking for certain cards. if they knew what codes they were looking for, then they could trade the codes they don't need.

Just an Idea Smile

Edit: I was wondering, what is the code on #11? I know this is probably TROUT, but i just spent 15 minutes trolling and searching the forum, and didnt see the code, although there were several mentions of Disco Volante and Hidden Notes, i wasn't able to track down the solution to the puzzle. If you want to save space, i suppose you could pm me. srry Embarassed

Card 17 and more....

I'm new, LOVE The 39 Clues. Have both books, lots of cards and solved them all except card #17 E-mail Code which I was just to lazy to solve. Could you tell me it?

Honestly, i thought card 17 is one of the easiest. Even had a puzzle rating of 1. You cant just say youre lazy to solve the card. If it was card 11 i can understand but this card 17, you have to work for it!

In the first place, there are FIVE clues, not FOUR. So actually you dont have ALL the clues. Secondly, like katsmom said earlier, we already know the FIVE clues so you cant just say we owe you anything.

Nice one. LOL Laughing Laughing Laughing

P.S: Thanks to whoever posted the answer for card 11 on the ealier pages. Whoever posted it really helped me out in my darkest hour.

I have two thoughts here. The 400 cards so far all start with "g69" and end with "9T". The surveillance cards start with 2 and end with xx or x2

If you make a list of available codes and put it in a public place, they won't be available anymore. Someone WILL enter it without your permission. There are lost of lists of tradable cards throughout the forum. They just need to be searched for.

card code database

I was thinking of compiling all the used cards and looking for a pattern. like the "g69" and "9t" stuff. that way, you could know the name of the card before you entered it into your account(I'm talking about SASE codes) and then trade and so forth.

Try page 62. Search button works fine. I just used it. Make sure you click the forum section and highlight CF WITH POTENTIAL that makes the searching a bit better!

And sadly, with the holidays and everything, I haven't mailed it out yet. I'm glad we traded codes first; keeps everything pretty on the level.

But I did have one slightly shameful thing to note - those cards weren't to complete my set...........they're to complete my second set.
