Which is Intimation's bio on Twitter. Mr. Green

New stuff today, from a different source that I do not recognize. Still mentions "hollow" though...

General "I'm in" post.

Poking this even though I don't 'do' Twitter. Tried anagramming the wrong letters left in the poem (wlwbhpeaouhomtbwgedrebdhy) as opposed to what they should be and came up with some fantastic sentences but nothing seemingly relevant. Maybe a combo of the two? *longshot*

Twitter was updated with these twits... (whtever you wanna call them)

#1 -

intimation: I opened my eyes, and before were a group of machines, 31 in all. They were old, rusty; some even damaged and dented.. holow.

#2 -

intimation: Around me walls were crumbling, trees withering, wind blowing dusts of what once were towers and homes. These 31 sentinels slowly approached.

# 3 -

intimation: When they stopped, it was clear they carried scraps of metal. Pieces of another sentinal, perhaps? It was hard to tell.

#4 - intimation: then the re-organized themselves, and 23 advanced leaving 8 behind. they each held their scrap in one of 9 different ways.

I googled and google,d thinking they were lines out of a book or something. No luck.

Sounds something like a puzzel though. The details in how the sentinals were holding the scraps, and the detail in the number that left and stayed. Perhaps there is a puzzel within the lines?

I, too, was followed and then removed by intimation. I did wonder if it was ARG-ish and wondered about the spelling errors, and noticed that the user is no longer following me. I will keep an eye on this thread now as well.

I am most intrigued by the tweets that contained numbers:

2882 85 281 655 281 51683 131s

632 7986 a 3256 338 a 4822359

The first string ends in "s"...is this a number of seconds?

The second one contains all 7-digit numbers (though spaces break up two of them). This makes me think of phone numbers...but there are no area codes. The three 7-digit numbers are separated from each other by "a". "à" in French (with the accent) means "to." Coordinates? Dimensions?

I do wonder if this is part of the This is My Milwaukee ARG, which I am also involved in. The mention of trees withering echoes the idea that nature withered around us when Go.D.S.E.E.D. was developed, and the description of scraps of metal being held in particular ways brings to mind Dark Dollar arrangements...but none of that will make sense to you if you haven't been following This is My Milwaukee.

More still...
Quote:
They gathered together and connected their pieces. A shape began to take form. The 23 sentinels then formed a line and turned to face me.

Quote:
Two identical sentinels, the 8th and 16th then twitched and deactivated, leaving 21 in place. A metallic arm then extended from each in turn

new twit

Hi there,
Two quick ideas: first, is it a coincidence that now that two of the sentinels have gone, the rest are in a 7-7-7 formation, and is this related to the second set of numbers??
Also, is it important that the word 'of' is missing from beginning of the line in clue 26 ('of' death's twilight kingdom), and should we be including these letters in anything?

The stuff with the sentinals reminds me of the book of Revelation from the New Testament of the Bible for some reason. Of course at first it also reminded me of Jeff Wayne's musical version of War of the Worlds (which IS doing a 30th anniversary reunion tour currently).

Anything T. S. Eliot related means that I am totally in.

One by one, they counted, pointing at a part of themselves and moving their arm with each count, as if opening a combination lock.

Revelation 4:2-5

"a throne sat in heaven, and One sat on the throne...around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. And from the throne proceeded lighntings, thunderings, and voices. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God"

24 elders + 7 lamps of fire = 31, plus the One in the center throne.

31 sentinels carrying pieces of one extra one?

This could be way off base, but the language sounds the same, and the focus on lots of numbers. Also, later in his life, T. S. Eliot became a very devout member of the Church of England.

combination

So if the second number clue is a combination, where is the lock?

Visual kinda guy

So, while I'm pretty sure the code has something to do with the numbers themselves - I'm pretty bored at work, and decided to do a simple mockup in Paint.

You can see the result here. I placed the 23 in front, 8 in back. The front 23 each holding a piece of scrap in 9 different ways. Then removed 8 & 16 (left the scrap in place).

The end result to me looks almost like a game of Hangman or Wheel of Fortune. But almost all the spaces for letter have almost the same number of letters in each. That doesn't seem very likely to me.

Anyway, like I said, it's probably not relevant, but you never know.

And another...
Quote:
Where each stopped, it plucked a piece of itself - some were damaged, some undamaged. They laid the 21 pieces down in their order.

New tweet! It was posted 3 hours ago.

With each piece, each sentinel deactivated. A somber moment. Then I noticed, the scraps as laid down formed words.

I got unfollowed too. I guess they requested just to let everyone know they were here, then decided to only follow space related Twitters.
