BTW, I'm assuming the "Possibly related posts" are completely unrelated to the plot...?

It says they're automagically generated, and look unrelated, so I'm guessing it's a Wordpress thing. Me, I'm not investigating a post titled "Nymphomaniac" while I'm at work. Shocked

I left a comment on the blog. This doesn't really sound like our Jon, who was after all a disembodied AI last time we met. But then there was that odd pokersmash screencap, posted to the flickr near the end of Chapter One: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=427319#427319 - maybe that was Jon stretching his legs on the net, or something?

Ah, forgot about Jonah Falcon. Maybe that's what the URL means - Jonah, New York & Los Angeles? It doesn't seem to anagram to anything useful.

We don't really have a way to contact Smithy directly, do we? Sad I'm not sure if the email from Jon is him asking us 'What is this?', or if it's just a way to get the trail out. Guess it couldn't hurt to reply to the email though, and ask if he's okay.

 		Interesting - googling 'jonahnynla' brings up JonahFalcon - jonahnynla seems to be his email address (@mindspring.com). Not sure if this is the same JonahFalcon that posted in the old unfiction thread - have PMd him to try to find out, but might be worth sending an e-mail to the mindspring address as well.

Can't say whether the Wordpress blog is in-game or not at the moment, in that case...

Ah well, 2009 looks like it could be fun Very Happy

 		I forgot that the name Jonah Falcon is also apparently the name of the guy who has the record for having... um... oh, google it yourself. Embarassed

We're still left with the jonahnynla thing, which seems to be pointing to the mindspring email, which in turn seems to be OOG. So I'm good & lost right off the bat. Bang Head

Got to get ready for 2009 now, but initial thought was morse code. Here's the code with dots turned into dots, and spaces turned into dashes:

Obviously can't tell where each letter starts if it *is* morse...

Note there are 4 lines of 21 "characters" exactly (84 in total) in the original article, so I'm certain the line breaks aren't random.

Maybe this is one of those weird drawings and not a code? Just a suggestion. Although, it's probably farfetched. It looks like it should be Morse.
