6:15 coordinate has updated. 6:15 coordinate location has been updated today - moved substantially from 42.970906 -77.228967 to 42.999793 -71.464026. That's why there was no phone there improvius.

Your equipment does not allow me to continue.
I love bees...etc.
Looking at the site, my AXON Is HOT anyway.

Okay, so 'Melissa' is apparently the right thing to say. 'Repeat' will probably repeat the message.
What you got for 'Continue' is probably the standard response at this point, and will always end the call.

I'm willing to bet that many of the axons that don't connect may be altered until they do...
as someone else pointed out, don't let any axons slip just because there's already two connections in that set of 7 - let's try to get all the axons hot - reach that 777 mark (if the connection attempts occur daily, then we definitely have a chance to get to 777 if everyone's working together)

it seems that incorrect axons will still be updated by Melissa until they 'connect', at least I'm willing to bet that's what's going to happen...

Unless I'm missing something, if there's 210 axons, how do we reach the 777 mark up top ?

I was at 6:59am PDT in Ann Arbor, MI
someone else answered.
when asked for his name he said "dizzy"
silence
"dizzy"
silence
"dizzy"
then disconnected eventually. we blew it. i think there was too much street noise. perhaps not well thought out on behalf of microsoft.
using voice recognition software on a call from a public payphone on the street? hmmm... i think that's why there have been so many failed attempts.

Sounds like their system is flexible enough that as long as you get 'Operator' in there, you'll get it. So the user who said 'Operator Jersey' worked because they said 'Operator'.
Could someone who took one of these calls confirm?
Also, even if you see your group has made 2/2, still take the call! The count at the top is total Axons, so the more calls we get, the closer we are to the final total.
That's backwards. Operator is her real name, Melissa is the nickname.
[SPEC] The passowrd is not required, it is just a marker for the sound file (e.g. the last bit at the end of my sequence was: " hey soldier, is that rifle loaded ora re you just glad to see me?"

Operator is the right thing to say if asked for her name. If she just asks for her nick name, then Melissa should be said. That's what sfsdfd said and he got the thing working. Alternatively, both could work *shrug*
-Malrog -- Can't keep up
*double edit cos I'm a double prat.

Blicero, you have to say the nickname as Melissa, or the Operator. Then, you say the dizzy part... that's why there were problems... Current theory is you can try again tomorrow, though... don't get discouraged!

No, he had it right. Melissa is her real name. She says so when she first mentions the Castaway. Operator is her nickname.

blip location I was at one of the "blip" locations and got the same incoming phone message that has been listed previously. The voice wants to verify that you are crew and asks what her nickname is. I replied Mellisa, but may have said it too soon. There was a stretch of silence after my reply. I thought the line had dropped, but truns out it was just waiting. She said that I was not authroized for the info and so on.
Sorry for the failure
I will redeme myself tomorrow (or maybe another beekeeper will), but I will be there!
On a side note, this phone was about the nasty phone I have seen, conviently located next to an over full trash dumpster.
What fun!

Then either will work, since I said "Melissa" to the nickname request.

Alright!!!
I have to leave here in 15 minutes and I need your best spec!!
"Melissa" is my first response.
"Continue" has gotten bad results on the second response.
What do you think?
Assume pressing "1" means repeat and "2" means continue?
Did the responders what enough time before saying "continue"?
I mean were they so excited that they blurted out "CONTINUE!!!" before
the system was ready?
Let's work together!! GO!!

One of the best reports so far indicates that 'Melissa' did work as the caller's name (perhaps it accepts both?).
