 		 [TRAILHEAD?] Only A Man/Commander Video
Hey folks. Sorry if this turns out to be nothing or a repost (in which case a Mod can do what they please), but an interesting (and creepy) little video has popped up recently on the 'Net.

According to IGN, it's for a new video game (for the Wii). And there's a screen from the actual thing in there somewhere. IGN sucking at journalism again? Who is the [s]Milkman[/s] Commander? Who are Mike Roush and Esa Linna, and why would they favorite this video?

Well Esa Linna was apparently some pop star from the 70's, and Mike Roush is an animator who makes films blending real life and animation Roger-Rabbit-style, at least according to Google.

Make of it what you will, unForumers. You're certainly smarter than I am.

 		I really dunno if this is Actually an ARG, but if it is, the PM doesn't want to be found. the WHOIS info throws that the site has "WhoisGuard" installed, so no info can be extracted.
But whatever may that mean, I'm in! I needed some action for a long while.

 		Pretty much. Yet there are confusing things... Like the "burning tape" effect... since it's supposed to appear when the tape that you're seeing ruins itself, but here we get treated like it was burned on the moment of filming it. BY A TV.

 		It looks like something out up super hypercube, a 3d game produced by student teams and presented at Gamma 3D in Montreal a month ago...

Only know since I was there...and had the highest score.

 		Bizzare. Has anyone been able to decipher the German they were speaking in the beginning, or had a chance to run that new picture through the paces? I would love too - but frankly, not sure what tools to use.

After a bit of fumbling around, I fiddled with the .jpg and ran it through jpseek, it indicated nothing hidden.
Also played with Photoshop - I didn't see anything of consequence. I sifted through the layers, as well as enhanced, brightened, flipped etc..

Found a website, that will apparently translate video's for free, with registration. Currently uploading the video (hopefully this is ok..?)

Also, just because I didn't find anything doesn't mean there is nothing there - this was the first time I've really done anything like that. Oh - and while playing with Photoshop - the only thing the picture made me think of was Tetris.. Embarassed Confused

 		In the beginning the german dialogue (spoken by non-native speakers) is as follows:
"We have found something. This." - "Did the master explain it to you?" - "No! How should I know anything?" - "Put the camera away! Give it to me. Do it - now." And then the TV is uncovered. The sound emanating from the TV sounds a bit like "everybody turn back now" ('alle umkehren'), but that's just a pure guess. The last words before the reel melts seems to be "Alle Mann zurückziehen" - "Pull back everyone!"

For the new picture - I have no idea. Maybe the stars are imortant? Or the geometry? You see me puzzled.

 		Tried the address WWW1COMMANDERVIDEO1COM1--THECOMMANDER1 - translated to www.commandervideo.com/--thecommander1 .. it worked, and redirected me to here.

Tried the UN/PW given above: 00COMMANDERVIDEO11, but I was given a "bad username" error.

I've been up too long today - anyone else have any luck with this?
