Card #17

Does any one have the answer to card # 17? The one with the magic bus on it? I can't figure it out.

Re: secret code on book's pages
Did anyone else discover a secret code embedded in the page numbers between 128 and 154?

Just curious.
It means "Anne Cahill did not drown"

Lily849. The answers to both of your questions have been answered in this forum already. Just use the search button. Type in card 17, or book 2 and you should be able to find them. But to be honest, it's not hard to get the solution. Just look at the front of the card to find something "odd"

Lily849, same advice as katsmom, u can find any answer with the search button(pretty much). but if u still havent found the answer yet, look out for the different letters. Btw, do u guys(or girls) no whether the library keeps or throws away things like the cards in books?

I've searched a librarians forum, and each seems to do something different. One entered the codes, but let students check out the cards as well, one gave the cards away to the first person to check out the book, one had them as a giveaway for a lucky draw. You should just check with your library if you aren't sure.

Ah... The search button is a bit small for some people.... again.

Should we suggest to the Unfiction forum team to make the search button bigger. Maybe use font 72? Laughing

P.S: Nice avatar, coocooboy! Very Happy

I belive there is also a library version of the book which is cardless. I remember reading that somewhere.

I can't believe that on ebay, card 60's are selling for $50, and that is only the buy it now price! Every other card goes for $0.99.

Also, although I can't find it to quote it, thanks to katsmom for that card 60 link.

Yes. Soon card 60 is going to be worthless after the 39 clues has all the card packs out. This is my 100th post! Flaming Nutter
