I'm not entirely certain that the new mp3 means we have to do a good deed. It mentions
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You will wait. Watching for the enemy, waiting until he strikes upon your fellow man to seize and destroy. It is then that you must act. Attack. Destroy your enemy before they destroy you.

To me that says something altogether different. Although with the start of this - some people had to go do a good deed - so maybe someone will have to chain themselves to a tree, while
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
someone else sneaks up behind them and brains them with a piece of oak (to be eco friendly of course)

Just my 2cents - but this has the feel of either a violent revolution of some sort, coupled with "illumination" - an upgrade in either rational thinking, or religious.

Well, it is a big-A Assignment, so I assume that it must pertain to the real world somehow.

I think the best way to complete this one is to simply look for an injustice - anything from a cashier giving a person bad change, to a politicial prisoner - and take a step to either reverse the damage (such as pointing out the bad transaction) or try to give the instigator some grief (i.e. writing a letter, or attending a protest, in the second case).

Also, I didn't complete Assignment One, either - I'm just too busy over the holidays. But, I still got the e-mail. This, I believe, is the official start of the game.

Still not sure if I agree with this assessment. I mean, if the PM's are going to run an ARG - what's the point of having the players just email in their good deeds, when it would be incredibly easy to fake it? And honestly - I'd get bored with that in heartbeat and look for something else.

I'm fairly certain at this point, that we can expect something a little more significant than "save bambi, email photo". At least I hope so.

Yeah I'm not really getting the point at this point. Seems like a lazy attempt at a ARG to me....

EDIT: Now I got one saying:

Quote:
Please ignore the e-mail sent moments ago.

A server error occured that has now been resolved.

Look no further into the matter. Delete the e-mail from your inbox.

Got the same 2 emails. Spent a few minutes trying to decipher the first - but rapidly losing interest here.

It's pretty simple - just tag it onto the end of the website url (no /cell01 subdirectory needed) and you get a URL with an interesting little message that reads

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I feel like those passwords belong somewhere, but we've never been giving a site that uses them. Have we?

You need a host URL to login with an FTP program as well, and I can't figure one out.
