Alright!!!

I have to leave here in 15 minutes and I need your best spec!!

"Melissa" is my first response.
"Continue" has gotten bad results on the second response.
What do you think?

Assume pressing "1" means repeat and "2" means continue?

Did the responders what enough time before saying "continue"?
I mean were they so excited that they blurted out "CONTINUE!!!" before
the system was ready?

Let's work together!! GO!!

I don't know about pressing buttons. I would repeat the phrase several times with a slight pause. Also try "repeat" to hear the sequence again.

Here's what I think: Go with Melissa (real name) or Operator (nickname) dependent upon what you are asked. After that, if asked to continue, be the first to repeat. We don't have someone who's done that yet. Also, make sure you've gotten your "passphrase" down, because if it actually does repeat, then I would use the passphrase then. That's my best advice. Good luck, man!!!

Yes, your first responce should be "mellissa *your site code*, but i think that continue should be the next responce. I think that in her current form, she cant continue, but the more axons we activate, the more likely she will be able to continue

(odd topic: can an admin activate my accnt? i never received the activation e-mail, the name is Chadwick359 , thx! ^^))

Just a few quick questions....

Are all the times in PDT? And if so that means we need to convert them for the East Coast right?

Also if no one is claiming the early morning Fredrick Call (N 39.404462 W 77.428234) I will Go.

[INFO/SPEC] Ok, why are we blowing so many axons?

OK, why are we blowing so many of these axons?!? I understand that at least one had changed prior to the people going out, so that's understandable, and we know that some are not manned, but seriously, there's people who I KNOW checked in here to see what's going on, and still didn't get their axon connected... why?

Just +3 hours to the PDT.
O_O
Everything is running slowly, even ILB. I don't think it's wise to click "Submit" multiple times.

whats with the lovely charming people hitting SUBMIT 4000 times???

and the beep could be them old lie detectors that ping a green or a red light...

anyways clues that lead me to believe its a lie detector:

askes YES or NO alot. dosnt want part answeres..

he says "a little skew from center...." could be the reading at the start, b4 questions...

and the ping after each yes or no answer...

EDIT- the forums are slow right now. There's not need to be a jerk to other posters - SG

[humour]

Just imagine the PMs designing this game:
Quote:
So we'll have all the geeks waiting by payphones and when it rings, they'll pick up the headset and will only answer by "Operator?"...Cool !!!!

Very Happy sorry

missed axons

I think this is set up so that we miss some. They want this process to drag out over several days, feeding us information a little bit at a time. That would explain why some people have said (what we believe to be) the right things, but have failed anyway.

Since it's voice recognition, accents could influence the results.

Hear that Bostonians? Razz

For a good chunk of this morning (I'm on PDT) I could not access this forum, so I went to the original WIKI. On the front page it says to use "Operator" then the password. If "Operator" is the incorrect answer, and as many people were turned away from this forum as I imagine, then it's really no suprise.

Apparently the phones in Philly never rang - about 20 people had them staked out, and wouldn't let anyone on them. So maybe not all the locations are getting calls?

well, interestingly, no sooner than my compilation page goes live and word spreads, but now we're getting hammered (my website is hosted at my work, an ISP) and seem to be getting memory errors Razz is ANYONE prepared for the massive usage anything 'ilovebees' is gonna get? Smile I got a shiver when I told my sysadmin about the situation, and looked at it, came back and said "looks like something else is happening. I'll let you know"... spooky Smile

Thankfully, the compilation pages will still display as that part is straight html, no server scripting or database access. Good thing I kept it all out of my main website template...

But unfortunately, at this moment I can't connect to edit the pages, so as soon as I can, they'll be updated with anything I missed...
