Found some stuff while digging around.

The first thing I found by accident was a page about "The Connection Machine":

http://www.freebase.com/view/guid/9202a8c04000641f8000000009927323

I then found a Fortean Times (UK) Article that seemed to have a whole lot more info on "The God Machine" than I've seen previously:

http://www.forteantimes.com/features/articles/246/john_murray_spears_god_machine.html

Might be helpful... definitely interesting nonetheless.

in theconnection pic it looks like:

the writing on the left is written from right to left (as Da Vinci would take notes)
the writing on the right appears to be french, but I can 't read all of it as it gets to fuzzy
there is also another type of notation on the bottom as well.

also the picture of the griffin pillar has some sort of stamp in the corner I can't make out...and where is Marchester?

According to Google Maps - it should be at the north end of the huge building in front of the Eye. Should be on the corner facing NW - but if possible, I'd look at entire north end - all sides.

Is also very possible, like someone mentioned earlier - that until we get the first clue, this one won't be accessible.

Cog... Sorry, I thought you PMed me previously to ask if I wanted to do it so as no confusion?

I had no problem doing it and said I would lol... But nvm, seems you wanted to take the trip anyway.

Good luck.

I'm guessing it says Manchester.
It actually looks familiar to me. It looks like the sort of thing in front of the town hall buildings. I'll have a look around tomorrow, see if I can see anything similar.

I was guessing it meant Manchester also - but if you google Marchester, there's a few results, mostly relating to apartments for rent - but there is a "famous" bike rider by the name of Marc Hester in wikipedia... Not sure any significance there.

As far as the "stamp" or whatever it is on the statue - I couldn't refine the picture enough to figure out what it was. Anyone else here that might be better than a n00b with photoshop?

Woo back from the freezing cold of London (-10 in some places! That may not be very low for some of you but its England not Antarctica)

I looked up and down the north side (side the co-ords are on) for about an hour including inside the namco centre and the London eye ticket office. Asked the guides to but they hadn't seen it either. But it was dark so i could have missed it. I would have stayed longer but I got there late and had to meet someone later on. So it could be on the south side.

Kinda depends on what kinda poster it is to 'cos if its a stick on advertising type it wont stay there long. As a tourist area it gets cleaned all the time.

Sorry. I feel I let you down Crying or Very sad

Ok, I've showed it people. We all recognise it, and I think I know where it is.
I shall head there tomorrow and have a look.

I'm not gonna hug ya, but don't feel bad. There's a good chance it simply isn't there yet. We really need to get someone out to NY when possible and track that one down first. Once that one is located - the PM's may make the other one available.

Heh - or maybe you just got out there quicker than they could.. lol.

Anyway - good effort - and thanks for taking the time to go do it!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the London drop was said to be the key and/or second part of the drop from NY. I thought we were going after the drops out of order but stayed quiet as I have pretty much just been watching rather than participating.

For what it's worth, I think the NY drop has to be found first...

Or it could be the case that whatever should be there has been removed.

Cool there's a pedestrian tunnel further up from the Namco centre I didn't get a chance to look in there so may be worth a shot. Good luck
