I think this explanation is more likely because it really shouldn't matter which order they're found in if they both go together to figure out the answer. Especially considering how difficult it is to even find people able to set out on foot for these spots.

I still get the nagging feeling though that the items won't be found by physically going. Just seems to have so much riding on the ability for players to get to the places in order to continue the game... especially right out of the gate like that.

I mean, it's a lot for a PM to ask to cross over into real world hunting this early. We've barely had any setup/storyline.

I hope I'm wrong about this though, because I'd hate to think these guys made trips for nothing... and thanks for going out Cog.

Really? From my experience big ARGs (which I get the feeling this is going to be) usually start with a bit of a bang, getting attention from people in relevant places. Live drops in New York, London and Manchester sounds about right.
(Remind anybody else of the early days of Project Syzygy?)

I don't mind the drops. I just wish I lived somewhere drops happen. =P

un-remote viewing

Not to mention, it isn't like the Empire State Building or the London Eye are particularly remote, hard to get to locations. They are right in the middle of two of the biggest cities on earth.

As much as I agree (after all I did go there) I think the NT and London ones are real, why say half the codes there otherwise. But what about the Greenland one? That IS in the middle of nowhere, looks like its on a glacier!

lol don't worry about it man... I'll take a peek tomorrow down there, during the daytime or something.

Cool there's a pedestrian tunnel further up from the Namco centre I didn't get a chance to look in there so may be worth a shot. Good luck

Thanks, the only thing I'm seeing there on the map though is those co'ords are showing the entrance to where people go to actually buy their tickets for the London Eye.

There's lots of 'statues' and posters in there IIRC, including like double sided boards.

Double post soz.

Okay, I've taken a screen of the Googlemaps zoomed in but clear enough; and saved the photo of the 'poster' and uploaded them both to my phone.

I'm also going to use my cell's GPS device lol, that might help Wink

Guess I'm just not as experienced then. The biggest one I played was WITG last year. That one didn't have us doing real world stuff until a couple months in. I stayed in it for a while and did some challenges around town. Maybe later they did specific drops in big cities, but I had to drop out about 3 months in so I couldn't say.

As for this ARG being a big one... well, it is sounding like it wants to be ambitious, but I haven't seen much to feel it's going to be that huge. But, like I said... I'm not as experienced so maybe you're right and we'll be playing this one for the next year or something Smile

This sounds pretty cool. I'm in the UK, can't get down to London right now, but if there's ever anything in Manchester/somewhere else in the north of England then I'll definitely have a hunt.

then we get that pic of the thing with "Manchester" down the side. call me crazy but it appears we are being watched, carefully.

Yeah, I thought that.

Somebody claim to be from somewhere rather outlandish.

Jack Demsey's
Coords on the H.E.L.I.X pic

For what it's worth.....

Google maps brings me to 36 W 33rd Street New York, NY. The street view is blurry but, I've discovered that this is the address for Jack Demsey's restraunt. Better pic found here.

Restraunt website

I don't think this has been discussed yet. If so... I proudly take my trout! Smile

Does TN count as outlandish?

I didn't get the email, but I'll watch and help if I can! This sounds interesting.

I was thinking more like Outer Mongolia, but sure.

That 'code' looks like gibberish to me.
