Looking at this picture, what looks like a microscopic organism, reminds me of the game SPORE. I created a creature that looks ALOT like that myself. The one in that pic looks alot less "cartoony" though.

I fiddled with this one for quite awhile. The 1's & 0's look like binary to me. Based on that principle, i took the other numbers in the middle, changed them to their alphabet equivalent, then turned that into binary - then converted the whole thing. Nada.
Also tried simply converting the other numbers into binary also. Again, no dice.

I think I've gone through about 10 different websites, and 20 different kinds of cyphers - not including the different ways to try and decipher them. I'm kindly stepping aside for someone that knows what they're doing.. Embarassed

To me it seems more like the random repetitive thing you would type if you used only your two index fingers. Have a look, try it yourself.
It's pretty much just left, right, left, right, left etc until the end, apart from the odd bit.

Anyone else reminded of the old cheat codes on the Super Nintendo?

Heh, contra code.
Sadly that probably isn't a useful line of thinking.
Oh well, back to memorising a picture of a griffin!

I tried to code for quite a while too... I'm glad it seems to be nonsense, I thought I was just really bad at it. Smile

I messed with both of them for a while and got nowhere. Doesn't prove anything except that I didn't get anywhere. I spent a bit less time with the second, tried rot and the Vigenere guesser.

The 1000 μ on the Connection.jpg is for microns, I think, i.e. the line = 1/1000 meter = 1 millimeter = tiny little thing.

And that's definitely Marchester, not Manchester. But. .. Do you Manchester lot know where I can find a griffin?

I also agree that the writing on the right looks French, but that's about all I can do with it at the moment. I'll mess around with the pic for a while and see if anything pops out.

Cog, bummer about the pickup.

ETA: just noticed the blue and pink on the griffin. rotated and double size below.

How do you know it is definitely Marchester?
That third letter is n. Look at the last letter in the word - it looks significantly different.
Not to mention Marchester not really being a real thing, and the other english words being well-known locations...

You've had a look around Manchester?
It looks like it's from one of several places:
Manchester Art Gallery
Manchester Town Hall
Saint Peter's Square
Saint Ann's Square
Albert Square
One of the older university buildings.

I'm heading into manchester shortly, so I shall check those places, and ask a few people if they recognise it.
