Ok .. I'd apologize for the double post, but it was from yesterday .
Anywho - so for several hours during work today, I sat and re-arranged the souls. Rather than trying to explain the whole thing, I'll just post the excel file here.
I put everything in pretty straightforward categories, to try and help with the sorting.
1st set - just identified everyone, what they did, what they're famous for etc.
2nd set - separated them into physical (painting, sculpture, etc), and cerebral (composers).
3rd set - organized by 2 first names, and 1 first name.
I also sorted the 2nd & 3rd set by D.O.B. Really I'm just looking for any connection possible at this point, but I'm fried. Let me know if anyone else sees anything in this..

Ack! Thanks for catching that dposse - I forgot to mention that! The ones "born" and "died" on Jan 1st, I simply put in Excel so I could sort by dates. Those artists were not listed with specific dates born/died - just the years.
Again, to reiterate, anyone on the Excel sheet I created, with the DOB as Jan 1 - are only because they had no specific date for their birthdays - only the year.

Has anyone given this a name yet? "Just received peculiar email" isn't a very good name for this trailhead......
Just a suggestion. After you guys have a name, the first post can be edited to include the game's name and then interested players can more easily find it.

I recommend "The Curious Case of Becca Hall".

lol - that is a clever title. I like it. But I also like simple. And if I had to type in that title a bunch of times (for folders, and posts, and bookmarks) - it'd be frustrating.
So how bout simple? Zita - or St. Zita .. or even The 13 Souls

Hey fellows. This is pretty interesting. I've been look at your excel sheet Wulf, but I don't see anything that particularly jumps out at me. My intuition draws me to the Physical/Cerebral groups, but I don't see any evidence of a clue in there. SO basically I've got nothing, just letting you know you've got one more guy on board.

Whoops, thought I was logged in. This is me.

Glad to have you aboard. I wasn't sure the excel sheet would do anything either - but I thought it was worth a shot. Zita mentioned that we needed to break them up into 2 groups - but what are the categories? lol

It looks like Zita doesn't have to do anything in order to influence events. It seems that she thinks things and they just happen. There's also lots of beings like her...angels?...Maybe we need to seperate which "souls" are christian of some kind? I'm at a loss....
ETA: Wulf, Akseli Gallen-Kallela is incorrectly categorized in your "2 First Names" group. Also, Andre Beauneveu is missing completely from your last two sets. I fixed it up and attached it here.

We have a long tradition of acronymizing our game titles.
That said, One I wouldn't suggest is:
"R eceived A P eculliar E mail".

So since we don't seem to be getting anywhere quickly with figuring out what categories to put the souls into - I emailed Becca to see if she has remembered anything that might be of use, and also emailed Zita with what we have so far..
Hopefully they'll provide some new insight.

Ok, back to the transcript of the chat
I got an email back from Zita - see attached.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Obvious is best in times like these. Regarding these groups. Decide on the two groups then arrange them. Each mistake you make will only get you closer. Remember to look at all my instructions.
I guess I must've missed something somewhere. Back to the drawing board.

I keep wondering what she means by "all my instructions"... Could someone refresh me (or direct me to the link) on what the instructions were. Besides seperating the souls into groups and figuring out what the visions mean, what were her instructions?
