Ok, we'll I am trying generalcarmineSPLATaladygma.com as well.

I would have expected a mailer-daemon failure by now unless of course all mail to that one goes directly to another address.

So the general consensus would be that this has been a way to screw with people?

No, I think it is pretty clear they are running a game...

Just not one most folks seem to like much.

Not entirely... As has been pointed out, the original "Aladygma" ARG had no direction, plot, story, angle whatsoever from what I could gather when originally attempting to get involved.

It was a "test" as again has been said, by the creators to see what kind of base they could run off. - And no offence but if you're going to tell your players they can find a 'code' behind a poster somewhere in London and TWICE people go to that location and said poster doesn't exist... Would you "seem to like the game" much?

And again... No offence and I may be alone in this sentiment but I for one, disapprove of and dislike immensly, PMs sending their players on Wild Goose Chases - Especially when said W.G.C's lead players around London in literally -6 degree weather...

Aladygma -scoop! General Carmine talks about the Bank.
General Carmine talks about the Bank: "The Mafia have tricked us.I've ordered a soldier to retrive the login pin of the bank from the aladygma's president, but we've not recived news of him for a while"

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 08, 2008 – We have a scoop about the Aladygma Projekt. The General Carmine posted this on a facebook Group:

"(...)The Mafia have tricked us.I've ordered a soldier to retrive the
login pin of the bank from the aladygma's president, but we've not recived news of him for a while. So we decided to send a rescue team to recover him, and when they've found him, he don't remember nothing of what was happened. The soldier was coming back with the USB key containing the access passwords of the bank, than, something has hit his head, and he's become unconscius.

When the rescue team has found him, he was in confusional state and the USB key was stolen. I apologise to you, soldiers, because i've hidden that operation to you all, but it was of vital importance, that it remain top secretI promise that i'll do anything, with you my soldiers, to fight and defeat the mafia and restore justice outside and inside the army!"

Apparently someone signed up here not too long ago called "General Carmine" And only posted twice; in the Cloverfield Forums. See here http://forums.unfiction.com/forums//viewtopic.php?t=26175

Someone there claims this is something like those fradulent "Pyramid Schemes"

Between me and the "trash this file" my sole motive for working the clues was to prevent Rose (with a gimpy foot atm) or someone else from fruitlessly wandering in the cold. Thought the first two freeze-ya-butt-off nega-drops were super lame.

**my first lil vent and rant....well, baby steps** Embarassed

Pancito's and Cleptomanx' feelings were correct, apparently.

I just got this email when I asked John Stander if he was wasting my time.

Quote:
"No! there was something behind that 'ARG' mess. It was a cover up.

Where can i start? the so called game was an initiative to round up people for the NewBorn project. They got the genetic makeup for the god machine from those poor fellows. I would never mess with you or any of your friends. The things are indeed placed, ill try to contact my people and try to get a dead on location. I am sorry, but i was told that there was a quite evident elephant in new york city were the cell phone was left. find the cellphone by the elephant and it will guide you to the evidence.

Godspeed!"

Seriously, I'm not sure what to think right now.[/quote]
