How do I become as cool as you? Teach me, oh great one, I sit at your feet and listen...

Heehee, no secrets to be had, except for the lack of a life.
As for the pinwheel, the envelope had been ripped open a bit, but I'm hoping everything that was enclosed was still there. Have a look for yourselves:

I suspect that other people will get these as well as the two cards you have appear to have portions of a pinwheel on them. We need everyone to put theirs up so we can put the pieces together. (Just my thoughts)

Could these have something to do with the messing letters in Creepy's book?

The way the pieces were cut does suggest that they go with other pieces. I've been trying to think how they would work with the missing letters from the book. Creepy did tweet yesterday:
Quote:
FRO_____________RK, maybe?
which has 13 blank spaces (if that was how she meant it to be interpreted).

So I got a pinwheel too. It would seem that I have another two pieces. I'll get some pictures taken and I'll put them up for all of you to see in a bit. Nice little pinwheel, though. Very creative.

Cool - anxious to compare notes.
Unfortunately, all this talk of pinwheels now has this stuck in my head:

The missing letters in order: e a e s s f i c c l
and then: (also here: "peek" typoed? as "peak") i w p n h l e e
The bottom one descrambles to:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
pinwheel
Don't know the top one yet.
EDIT: Just got miffed and tried several word descramblers. It's certainly not one word - I'm thinking "case files," but there's still one "c" left over.
EDIT EDIT: Oh, hey. "Access file", maybe?

Package I got a pinwheel as well, mine says go and LtD.com. From what the other pieces said, I got http://whirlgoltd.com/ It's clearly game related, [Notice the giant pinwheel on the home page]
Nothing much on the site except for a tragic story of how some unknown disaster destroyed their pinwheel company.

Sorry for the bad picture quality, my camera sucks.[/url]
[EDIT] It seems that the pieces of paper that came with the pinwheels are parts of the logo on the front page.

Where do you get the "t" from? That makes no sense. Look:
Quote:
A horrible pa nic rushe d through him. This room s eemed s o f amiliar. Whi te-and-blac k chec ked floor, wall s and ceiling....
Alternatively, I guess you could say
Quote:
A horrible pa nic rushe d through him. This room s eemed t oo f amiliar. Whi te-and-blac k chec ked floor, wall s and ceiling....
making eaestoficcl, I suppose. But that makes even less sense, unfortunately.
Curses!

Not sure how this helps us but I just figured that I would throw it out there. Did a quick google search on balor. This turned up,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balor
It definitely fits the folklore theme.
