Are You 23? Viral Marketing by Disney http://www.disney.com/23
Disney started the "Are You 23" ad campaign a couple of weeks ago. The page only has a countdown. A check of the background for steganographic influence turned up negative.

Any inkling of what this could be for?

The countdown stops at March 10. I'm putting in my email even though I'm 14.
I suppose it's something really big because it's not normal for Disney to start such a mysterious viral campaign.
Some say that it's for the release of 23 Blu Ray version of classic Disney films (I checked Google, and Pinocchio's getting release on that date on Blu Ray, but that was it.). I don't think Disney would make such a big deal about it, and if that's what they're meant to release, then
screw the heck out of them .
EDIT: I checked the Source.

What about it? It's the "your email has been submitted" success graphic after you put in your email.

I COULD contact Disney site managers for the mistake, but too bad, they don't have a "Contact Us" link.

Unless I'm missing something, it's not really a mistake since no information was revealed when the countdown reached zero (as previously mentioned, that'll probably be uploaded later)
Definitely a good try, though.

If they don't fox it, it will be a huge reson for main diappointment
On the other hand I suppose, they know such tricks, so they will update the actual link shortly before March 10.

This is also being discussed here (the image of that poster is there, too).
Nobody there has any idea either, though the 23 blu-ray release theory has been said, too.

I like this theory...
Quote:
This concept was created because the Company has gotten a LOT of flack saying they only cater to the casual tourist and not to the true Disney fans. It came to a head last year when Iger was berated by a Disney fan who said the Company did not care about them. In the past, all Disney "fan clubs" were run externally. In this case, there is a Company-wide initiative with the D-23 event, as its called. It will be a major push and their hope is to really form a relationship with the true Disney fans.
Essentially people will pay about $100 a year to receive some very cool, exclusive merchandise, CDs, DVDs, etc. They will also be invited to a yearly or bi-yearly (to be determined at the moment) event in Anaheim or Orlando (the first event is scheduled to be in Anaheim). Each Company department will be presenting something unique that Disney fans would appreciate (behind-the-scenes looks at theme park technology, a pre-release screening of a new movie, etc). This convention is expected to be huge, with Disney sparing no expense.
They will be announcing this new program in March.
