Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Wikipedia says to disrupt the power supply. You think that'll be enough? I'll comment him, just to be on the safe side. He says he can't get in until night, but night's falling quickly over there right now.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
No, it's not enough, and could actually have the opposite result.
At my former employer, all the doors were magnetically locked and required proximity cards. If the power went out in the building, the magnets would forcibly engage and you couldn't open any door.
In other words, in a power outage situation we were trapped in the building and couldn't get out through the doors.

Newb here. I'll try to help best I can, but there's a lot to take in here in this thread right now. Maybe I'll take a look at this message from "No" soon.
Was just checking in here so I don't surprise you all later.

So how does a wiki page linked to what you all have found out so far? Apparently this "No" person has some confidence to be emailing a single link. Does it relate to the phone tap at all?
*will have to reread that part*
Just throwing out some things to see what sticks.
EDIT: I'm looking at the wiki, and those Indus glyphs caught my eye for some reason. But that's just me, who knows. It's mainly cuz they're a big discovery, apparently:
SIGN BOARD:
"One of the most significant discoveries at Dholavira was made in one of the side rooms of the northern gateway of the city. The Harappans had arranged and set pieces of gypsum (a kind of mineral) to form ten large letters on a big wooden board. At some point of time the board fell down flat on its face. The wood decayed, but the arrangement of the letters survived. The letters of the signboard are comparable to large bricks that were used in nearby wall. Each sign is about 37 cm high and the board on which letters were inscribed was about 3 meter long.[2] These signs might have been logographic."

Just by looking the videos first glance, I'm looking at titles, etc.
We have, from top to bottom:
1) The Doors- Break On Through
2) Prodigy - Firestarter
3) Beyonce- Ring the Alarm
My guess is we might be looking at the song titles to get some sort of message. But that's a wild guess.
(Really depends if there's something hidden in those videos, really.)
But by pursuing my most likely impossible theory, I get this:
Break On Through The Doors, Firestarter. Ring the alarm.
But that's just a really wild guess.
I guess the first two questions are:
1) What is on those videos, if anything, that might relate to the clues we have?
2) Are these videos related to the wiki?

From Wikipedia:
Quote:
Whatever the choice of locking system, fire safety is an important consideration, and ensure that the unit is wired correctly for the unit to release in case of fire.
Depending on the system, maybe setting of the fire alarm could buy a few minutes?
Or just follow someone to the gym and 'borrow' their card.

I just wrote that on the blog
"Perhaps if you set off the fire alarms the doors would automatically open for emergency exiting? It does seem like you are in an emergency..."

You beat me to it, as far as posting that idea here.
I was thinking setting off the fire alarm would unlock all the doors, so no one would be burnt alive.

In other words, in a power outage situation we were trapped in the building and couldn't get out through the doors.
Our mag locks at work still disengage if operated from the inside during a power outage. They're on a UPS. Once the UPS power is gone (And if for some reason, the generator were to fail), they'd eventually all unlatch.
That said, most of those doors work on the same capacitive variation switching that a touch lamp uses. It's a simple matter to thread a standard lacquered coat hanger through the crack between the doors and touch the "bar" that disengages the latch. I snicker at people trying to open these doors with their butt and it won't budge.
But don't try this at home, kiddies.
