That's only if this is indeed DA related. (DA being DeviantArt... just covering my bases here, people, lol).

I tried googling that answer you guys got a while ago and got only a different langauge (where apparently samedi is a day of the week). At least I got somewhat more productive results. But then, who knows.

It's up to you guys to verify it, part of the reason I just threw it out there.

Thanks though, church, for the comment.

If I knew how to contact Zita, I'd just ask her if this is what she saw regarding the skull, or if I was close. Or something.

Samedi is Saturday in French. There's also Baron Samedi, which is a prominent figure in voodoo

I think church is right - it looks like you may have stumbled onto something relevant here. You can try to contact Zita through Becca's email (see the first page of this thread).

Has anyone tried searching "dbphen" in DeviantArt?

Thanks. I wasn't sure if that's how everyone was doing it so I just.. yah.
If no one's done it yet, maybe I'll see if I can't get through to Zita.

@Massive: Just did, per your question. Got 0 results.
Maybe it's encoded, or something. I dunno.

Email away. I'll wait for a response, then.

Sorry to double post. But I got a reply from Becca.

Here's my email and hers. But I just directly copied it, so read from bottom to top.

Quote:
I have not found anything else that works as well as this. Perhas we should find out more about this guy?
Becca.

First off, if Becca is reading this, I apologize. But maybe you should read it too, see what you think.

Zita emailed this to one of my colleagues earlier with this vision:
"Had a vision of many shades of green, a community, with many small windows of colour. A place for creativity."

We deduced it might be a website called DeviantArt. But it's a specific profile on DeviantArt I have a question about for Zita.

Was it this picture you saw in that vision, Zita? Or was it the person who uploaded it on their profile? Or both?
I find it a little too coincidental to have a profile name of "BurningSamedi" with a skull pic for the little icon by the profile name.

Becca, if you see this and Zita doesn't respond, I would like your input on it.

Yes, I'm working with a group of people that Zita has been in contact with, in case you're wondering.

Nutshell: Becca thinks it fits very well and that we should maybe investigate the guy BurningSamedi on Deviant Art a little more closely.

I've also replied to this.

Also, if anyone wants to take a whack at investigating ~BurningSamedi a lil more, then here's his profile. It doesn't like this profile is all that old.
Also, he has very few pictures actually uploaded, and three of them are skulls. His journal entries also seem a lil uninteresting, but maybe we should check anyway?

I dunno.

Re: Reply from Zita

I got a response from Zita regarding the email I sent to her after the conversation. Luckily she kept with using the same code as the first email - because it was a lot longer this time.

Rather than posting my long ass email, I'll try to just give a bit of info where relevant to Zita's response.

Quote:
I appreciate your position. I hope my reply will aid you. The building (ivy-covered building is in good condition and was in an urban area. I saw it from an elevated angle, there are two small sets of doors in either end and they are black. There are many sides to a building (I asked what side the building was seen from) Confused .

The sculpture is extremely large and abstract, indescribable.

Princess with red hair, blue skirt and blue cardigan. Blank expression ( on her face). Modern (style of dress).

(Blonde) Young man with an earring, blue jeans, black shirt and brown shoes.

All the images were separate (in reference to the vision involving the "hallways, 2 halls, blood, doll and a skull). The hallways were at ninety degree angles. Black and white floors yes (here i asked if the floors "give the impression of being enclosed (as in a hallway?) or within a structure but separate from it?"). Two People (I asked for more detail regarding the "2 halls").

I am certain if you keep your wits about you, these things will come to you.

As for the souls I gave you, you know that they fall into two separate groups. Only when you have moved them into their separate groups can you work. Rearrange them to help you. Decide where they should go in relation to each other. Every soul is as important as the others. Read the instructions carefully (instructions!??).

==EDIT==
Or I can post the original email I sent if someone wants to see it.
If I missed something or someone needs a better answer, lemme know.

Please note I'm still catching up so feel free to Trout me.

I tried searching urban sculpture on google.

Maybe the scupture is in Toronto's Sculpture Garden? The site doesn't show a lot of photos but there is an ivy covered building there. It's a farfetched guess though.

http://www.torontosculpturegarden.com/currentexhibit.htm

I think I just found the answer to the first riddle/vision.

I don't think that the calling the girl a princess was meant to be literal. I think a girl at Harvard could easily be called a "princess" as in a spoiled girl. There's also apparently a metal sculpture in front of the Nathan Marsh Pusey Library which is covered in ivy. The girl and the guy sound right out of a Romeo and Juliet modern day film remake. Oh and FYI Harvard was among the first universities in the US to build a library.

I'm thinking 'shades of green' is meaning money. Maybe a clue to where some of the answers lie, who else beyond the US has green money.

Skulls always remind me of the Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico.

I'm asking BurningSamedi about his skulls/if he knows Rebecca somehow.

Oh and FYI my s/n is the same for Deviant Art but I have artistic nudes/naughty stuff on mine that isn't appropriate for young ARGers. Just forewarning if you're bored or something and check it out.

PS Where was the listing w all our info for ARGs? I remember I added my email and s/n for AIM on it. Anyone know the part of Unforums it's on.

That thread? It's in the Puppetmaster Help area (i think that's what it's called).
I went searching for it recently myself.

I dunno.

His self-portrait is a photo of a young blonde man with an earring in a black shirt, which matches another one of the visions.

I'm not sure how the rest of his art fits in; there are a couple piece of abstract digital art, and one photo labeled CCTV. The latter was uploaded Dec 29th and has a woman's arm around a man whose face we can see clearly.

And under Burningsamedi, the name "Bernard Samsa" appears. That might be an anagram, but if so I don't know of what.

He has three favorited images: "The Goat King," "London mystic," and "London." The latter is a picture of the London waterfront at the London Eye; a huge ferris wheel. There's also a building, I don't know the name of the building. Maybe the ferris wheel or the building fit into the visions somehow?

First off - the thread to post your contact info is found here.

Secondly, nice catch/thoughts by coffeegirl18 and f. I can't believe I didn't make the connection between the profile pic of ~BurningSamedi and Zita's vision - I blame RL.

@Coffegirl - I think you're definitely on to something with Harvard, though I question whether it is Harvard. So far, based off of the language used, the location of ~BurningSamedi, Becca Hall, Becca Hall the building and the possible reference to the London Eye - I would be inclined to think it's probably a University in the UK.

Just my $.02 for what it's worth lately ...

==EDIT==
If someone is going to try and contact ~BurningSamedi it would probably be worthwhile to ask what University he's going to - as I believe I've seen it mentioned twice now that he was attending.

I plan on joining the chat tomorrow, if that's alright ^_^

Welcome - not sure that anyone has been in the chat client for a bit, but feel free to add your thoughts!

I just got another email from Zita. Translating it now .. it's titled Urgent. I'll post when I have it done.

==EDIT==
Strange - the person above had just posted, then all of a sudden it's gone.

Anyway, here's the translation and the email she sent:

Ok - let's call it for 5pm EST tomorrow then. I'll give it another few hours before I email Zita back just in case - but otherwise plan on then.
