Totally [SPEC] but...

The flea keeps trying to talk to her. It's trying to reveal the truth to SP, and she's just not listening.

I dare say PF may have some of our answers, and SP isn't exactly helping us.

The SP does seem able to keep the Flea at arms reach - he seems to be struggling to get any headway into infecting her at all. The SP is behaving a lot more like a Smart AI should.

OTOH the Flea was able to eliminate the SPDR by phoning upstairs with some rubbish version numbers so I do wonder if he might try the same trick again.

FYI - just tried yellowbrickroad.html page and did nasty things to Windows XP And IE 6.0 - lost all interaction and had to reboot. Sad Haven't had this problem with any of the other pages. I'll stick to the transcript.

Unless you can intrept that as Attach to Princess, Pull truth from Princess. Flea might be kinda like SPDR, but instead of retrieving memories for repair it is like an interrogator.

Are we sure Flea isn't trying to force Princess to reveal the truth, as she may have done with Melissa? I'm still not clear if Melissa went with the Flea voluntarily or involuntarily, and whether Melissa is paired with the Flea or Flea is controlling Melissa.

Flea still sounds like a regular process to me, not an AI. Notice now he's now using the same languague and tools as SPDR did.

"Truth" is a loaded word in the Halo universe

Keep in mind the Covenant are a bunch of religious fanatics, so "truth" is probably equivalent to "God's words" to them. For example, they named a military cruiser "The Truth and Reconciliation" without any intended irony.

reveal Princess:
Princess > !attach seeker
seeker >> cmd proc

WTF? If the Princess "kisses" the flea, he'll become a command process?

I think this is the most important part of the conversation.

With the Princess' "I've heard that handsome prince line..." reply, it seems that's the only way to interpret the last bit. The Flea says "if you kiss me, i'll turn from this frog into a handsome prince!" and the princess doesn't believe her.

[SPEC]
What we have to figure out is, which one's right? Merging of the AI's have been discussed earlier: It seems that that's what the Flea wants to do. Or at least, attach to the princess in the same way as he's attached to the Queen. And what if they're both right? The Flea will turn into something bigger if he attaches, but the Princess would definitely NOT want it (whatever it would be)?

I refreshed the page, and got a completely different "corrupt" picture, with a completely different embedded Q&A:

Question:

What are you?

...

Answers:

I am some kid who wants to get noticed, very clever an instigator an

innocent bystander stored in an airtight container in the deepest and

darkest Sleeping casket in a chamber of the dungeon.

Do you understand this? Whatever you are?

love,
