So, I replied to the email I got from Smithy Smith, and just now got a response - read from bottom to top:

:edit deux: I see the bluegrass music reference, but there is such a thing as Kentucky bluegrass (lawn) and the sky does turn green before a tornado sometimes...are they pointing us to something in the south? it's funny b/c all i can hear now is greengrass and hide tides forever lol!

 		Green sky .. twice mentioned so I'll focus on that for a minute - because the last encoded email on the blog has me stumped.

Again - aside from that bluegrass group mentioned above - I found an interesting article concerning a green sky here. For those of you that don't want to read it - it's usually an indication of incoming bad weather (tornado, hail, etc).

And if I'm reading the latest blog post correctly, Petunia has the key to this, so if you'd be so kind as to solve it - then pass it on to everyone in line till it gets back to me - I'll find the "green one". Just gimme a call and wake me up when you've got it. Laughing Mr. Green

you are correct with the green sky thing. It happens before tornados, I've seen it, not fun. that's why i asked if it was maybe some sort of reference to the south. the black heart and lambs brain thing reminds me of a voodoun. are there any references to this sort of thing in the Masquerade? I really don't remember...

:edit: green sky, blue grass... that's why I posted this: Tornados/Kentucky bluegrass=south?

So I guess that answers my questions.

In regards to the Voodoo involvement with VTM - I'm not sure. At least not in Bloodlines, that I've been playing. VTM has been around a long time as a D&D type game - and I simply don't know all of the history behind it. I wouldn't say it's impossible though.
