The FF/RW sound is the same used in Halo when MC was accessing Mendoza's video diary. Apparently this type of recording of daily minutia wasn't limited to the military.

Another observation - you can get a sense of the observers location in relation to the conversations by the movement of the voices - i.e in Tuna, the voices start soft and get louder as they enter a room of some sort, implying that the obserer isn't on/with either of the participants in the conversations. And this observer seems to travel around pretty well.

o/T The yellow brick road thing is just a compilation of the various programming thats appeared on the site with the responses from the op i think, the wiki managed to compile a story using pretty much the same guidelines as this.

ok, i think all of these audio logs are recorded by the Pious Flea or something... and if u notice, in EVERY log, is some sort of equipment present that can be used to record (the lie detector in some, the computer in the guys apartment, or the microphone the guy is using while he talks to Jan at dinner)

Who can the Pious Flea make it around? if its a computer AI from the future, it can do ALOT of shit at one time... plus it can travel from computer system to system remember.. so it can hack prolly anything, from a personal computer (jerseys) to a lie detector
