Found it! Turns out "south side of shed" means "bench to the south of shed"
Will post details soon. I'll let you have a share too, sowasred2012. Especially since you couldn't get the first drop.

alright guys...I m back and this is what I found in the lock:
100 Mexican Pesos No.: Q0270833
50 Hong Kong Dollars No.: CM935773
20 USD No.: GL95988509A
20 USD No.: EC55375357F
100 USD No.: FF31603220B
100 USD No.: CE45945171A
10 British Pounds No.: KL33 196546
100 Hong Kong Dollars No.: MH576075
100 Hong Kong Dollars No.: GX898268
Todays exchange rates make that round about 300 $
Quite a nice sum
And I was lucky...didn t go to work this morning, and after Gym and some shopping I grabbed a coffee. Logged into a HotSpot and actually found out that the dead lock was just three S-Bahn stations away...close to the Main Station...lucky me...waited there for some time but noone else showed up, so I took it and left.
There's nothing special to the bills...so I guess there s no need to post pics up here!? If anyone wants them let me know...

Late update to say, the exchange took place and everyone is happy
The moneys I received were as follows:
30 Hong Kong Dollars (= £2.78 )
20 Euros (= £18.71)
200 US Dollars (= £143.98 )
40 Canadian Dollars (= £22.83)
40 GB Pounds
10000 Japanese Yen (= £80.85)
Total = £309.15 = $424.96
I'll post the serial numbers of the notes I still have... at some point.
