Well if it is an Oni se/prequel then it doesnt HAVE to be on PS2, they could make it for Xbox if they felt like it.

Are we 100% sure that it's not Marine Slaying, rather than slang? Somehow, wordplay doesn't seem enough to warrant being special SPECIAL forces.

Heh, this is a prequal to the one about finding her BF in somewhere other then buffalo...

new term: Ghosting

involves "hacking" of some kind to listen into someone, or somehow.. who knows...

BTW: its 2 way conversation.. interesting....

and Jan appears to be "n00b" to the whole thing... but is VERY interested in using it for other purposes

'say_something' is up. Jersey (?) is making Jan's (?) voice echo, and asks if it can be done on other people. Maybe she plans to play a prank that will get's her arrested?

Ghosting

Sounds like he's talking to an AI.

"at lease you have some encryption..."

so he's looking at her files, and then "Ghosts" her, i.e. makes a copy?

could this be him talking to Melissa, and the ghost is the sleeping princess?

Actually, having been on the other end of this one, I should defend the multi-posters. I got double-posted myself when I most definitely only submitted once. In fact, I waited several minutes as it tried to submit, then finally just gave up and closed that window. It still submitted the post, and doubled it. More going on than just folks being impatient.

Transcript of Say Something:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Jersey: Ok, well, that's good. You've got some encryption. Ok, it's not completely pathetic. Ok. (tone) I'm in. Say something.
Jan (echoed): What do you mean, say something? Oh my God! My voice! That's me! What are you doing?
Jersey: I'm... ghosting you.
Jan: You can't do that!
Jersey: You're probably right.
Jan: (Laughs) Oh my God. Wait. Can you do that with anyone?

wav caps

johnny_Nitro wrote:
Could the CAPS in the filenames of the sound files be some sort of clue as to their order?

I was thinking along the same lines, but from hearing them it seems like the order will be easy to figure out. I was wondering if the capped letters might spell something that would be another clue. I don't know how the random caps is working as I always get them in lowercase.

i'm guessing that immediately before we begin to hear the conversation there was an exchange like:

Frank: her dad was a spartan
2: what's a spartan?

and then we pick up where the recording begins...

Frank: Marine slang. Not just special forces. SPECIAL special forces.
2: I don't care if her Dad was the freaking queen of Neptune! I want her caught!
Frank: He taught her some moves, though, didn't he?
