another silly question On the p/k page with the door, why is there an 832 byte gif titled "nothing"... I know it's linked to the other site... but why use a gif just for a link? All the other pics are jpg....

Pretty much because gifs are smaller.
But they could do it like they do on Silverladder, where a small zone of the page is clickable... maybe this isn't as professional as we thought.

Does anyone have a list of the companies that were in Mirror's Edge and tried to find URL's for them?

You can always check at the Wikia:
http://mirrorsedge.wikia.com/
...but it's interesting to note that the Newstream website is listed there under the company's link.

you tube video (Jan. 28, 2009) I guess what I was really wondering, was if it's possible for a file to be hidden in it.
I'm looking at the stuff here:

Wonder what all that's about??

I made a list on the Mirror's Edge wiki. Search for 'City'.

Edit: Nevermind, they are working again. Odd.

By the way, the numbers 88.7 keep popping up in the game Mirror's Edge and the sources from the two sites. What the heck do they mean?

I'll be keeping a close eye on this. I loved Mirror's Edge. I was lucky enough to be working for a game store when it was released, so I got a fenchurch Mirror's Edge T-Shirt as well!
To add to snorkle's discovery, there are a few tags around the message which I think are also related:
IPTC [0x1C01:090] City = [%G]
IPTC [0x1C02:000] Record Version = [0x0002]
IPTC [0x1C02:005] Object Name = [Lies]
IPTC [0x1C02:120] Caption-Abstract = [MESSAGE WAS HERE]
IPTC [0x1C02:025] Keywords = [88.7]
It looks like 88.7, for now, might just be a callsign, perhaps used by Faith.
IPTC may also be significant. Can anyone tell me if it's just a reference used by JPegSnoop?

Edit: Noticed a mis-spelling in the source of Newstream.com, "begining". I'm starting to worry that this is a hoax because that's a none-too-professional spelling error.

If it's a hoax, it's a good but sad hoax

I think that is on purpose. There where mis-spellings in the easter eggs to, right? During the game itself?
(PS. First post on these forums. Hi guys. ^^)
