I am moving much more strongly to believing that the rewind type sounds are exactly what they sound like. The 'tape' going into fast-forward to skip the 'boring' parts and get to the relevant plot points.

Take our_hoodlums, much_lifting, parasites, eyes.

Two people involved in small talk (our_hoodlums to much_lifting) that drops some clues and sets place and chronology. 'Tape' winds down or fast forwards to.. Winding up or end of fast-forward and jumping into next plot relevant part of the evening.

Someone on the Bungie forums menioned that you could do the capital letter trick (a la ZZ in diZZy.wav) with all of the listed wav titles and get them ahead of schedule.

But the signal to noise is quite high over thereso I can't confirm it. (also connection dog slow, and I time out most times trying to reach any of these places today!)

Ok, stupid_cop.wav is up.
And the walkaway_girl.wav definitely takes place before the interrogation clips. Looks like Ms. James was snooping in a restricted area and is trying to hide why.
