Sadly, yeah, I'm pretty sure this ARG is wrapped up.
Does anyone besides me think it at all unusual that the site has gone out of its way to report publicly the total amount of each drop?
To the penny?
Just a thought.

From what I understand, Sony sent out a mass e-mail just before those scrolling numbers went up. I would guess that stating the amounts found at different drops was a good way to get a lot of people (who were not otherwise following this) excited.
@celina- or the omission sounded like it wasn't worth gas money and a speeding ticket

Ending Since the movie isn't for another two weeks I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of closing video that wraps up the storyline and suggest that you see the movie to find out how it all ends.

Well thankfully I only ended up with a parking ticket. And the beer was much appreciated! Definitely took the edge off of walking back to my car and finding out I had to share my share of the loot with the City

It seems like we only see those types of articles when a game is over. So, over? Darn, I wish I had had the time to be here for the whole thing.

I was wondering who was behind this... not surprised to see it is 42 Entertainment. Loved Vanishing Point. They produce some great stuff.

Appropriate that it would be found out on page "42" of the thread. Man, they're good . Maybe too good...
Seriously though, there are so many other threads that come up and people immediately call 42. The thread that actually is 42 doesn't have a peep? They really are good.

The winner of the car gets announced today... good luck everyone!
And be sure to answer your phones... if you're the lucky one, they'll try to call twice before moving on to someone else.

Yes! Someone picked it up super fast. I was on my way when my sister called to tell me the website said it was picked up. That sucks cause I was hoping it was you who got it.
Yeah, the pickup was really fast, within minutes really. Shad0 just called me so I passed a message onto him as well. I wonder who picked it up?
Hey guys. I am not new with ARGs...but haven't done anything active in a long time... I normally just follow on the net, and do anything other than actually getting off my butt, but the free money and needing to pay for books for school... kinda pried me away.
Anyways I am the guy that got the LA drop, and I got it within 10 minutes... I just positioned myself in a place I thought would be a great starting location, and I ended up guessing right. I would've posted something earlier... but I just found this forum...
total haul:
120 Euros
10000 Yen
20 Mex Pesos
100 New Zealand Dollars
40 America
I don't have the serial numbers on me, but I am sure they are needed anymore.
Also, I wanted to wait around for a few minutes, but I was fearing an impending parking ticket... which I got... but worth it...
Anyways now that I am a member of this forum I can't wait to help out and be a part of more ARG's with actual human interaction...

There you can see the metro station in China Town where the box was... its right there down on the left next to the escalator. Obviously there is a close up of the box, and finally the last pic is the spoils... Once I got it exchanged it turned into about $340, and i hung onto the peso as a trophy... since it the 20 pesos are about $1.40 anyways...
