Crazy-8, most of the helpful posts from the last 21 pages have been deleted and the only thing really left are PUZZ-Helper type comments which aren't really helpful at all.

I did find out that the 2 numbers = 1 letter and each * = a space meaning a new word. What I don't know is how to apply the letters to find each number.

Let's take the first set of numbers from the first clue for example: 43701624

If I break that up into pairs, I get 43 | 70 | 16 | 24

I tried adding the 2 numbers together 7 | 7 | 7 | 6 then placing them next to A=1 | B=2 | Y=25 | Z=26 which would give me GGGF. Also Z=1 | Y=2 | B= 25 | A = 26 gives me TTTU.

Now if I kept applying the A=1 or Z=1 theory:

Subtracting the first number from the second number wouldn't work since 1-6 would give me a negative number.

Multiplying wouldn't work there is a 0 (zero).

I also tried A=0 | J=9 | K=0 | S=9 but that came up with nothing also.

Just leave the numbers as they are and pair them up to a letter.

Just like 1 could be Z and 26 could be A in a normal cypher... just allow 77 to be a letter.

Re: Dismantle ramisis

I opened the Ramisis, which is step 3, the key chamber opened, and entered the key on the isisadventure.com website. But there it is stated that the puzzle is finished and there is no need to dismantle it to release the green light and to continue the game. So therefore they don't give any instructions on how to dismantle it. But I would like to dismantle it! Does anyone know how, or what to do? Are there any specific hints which they removed from their website but nescessary to dismantle it?

Congratulations adventurer on achieving the halfway stage for the Ramisis puzzle, please ensure you do not touch the Ramisis puzzle again until you have read and understood these instructions.

Although a physical key is associated with each puzzle in the Isis series, awards for the Ramisis are only valid from the virtual Ramisis pyramid map. Any attempt to claim a gold coin from any pyramid found on the Isis I Pyramid map will be null and void.

It is important that you do not tamper with any of the parts inside the key chamber at this stage as this will render your Ramisis null and void for any potential awards and any tampering will disable the light within, thus locking out the final part of the Ramisis adventure.

Step 7. Having entered your key code onto the Isis adventure website, replace the key chamber back into the Ramisis puzzle. DO NOT replace the key.

Step 8. Keep pressure on the key chamber and then turn the bottom section 90 degrees clockwise to re-lock the Ramisis

Step 9. The next challenge is to continue to rotate the pyramid sections in order to move the metal object inside the Ramisis back to its start position.

Step 10. Turn the bottom section 90 degrees to re-open the key chamber, the red light will pulse every second for 1 hour was this has operation has been carried out successfully.

Step 11. The Ramisis can now be dismantled, in order to do this follow steps 12 to 14.

Step 12. With the key draw removed, whilst putting moderate pressure on all sections of the pyramid(compress the sections) tap the side to the right of the key chamber with the Ramisis puzzle base set 90 degrees to the horizontal. This will release the hidden internal catch.

Step 13. If the catch has been released, the centre shaft of the Ramisis can be lifted from the top of the pyramid, this will allow each section to be removed, place these carefully to one side.

Step 14. The base section contains the electronics, remove the bolt and if you have carried out all the above steps correctly the internal green light should be pulsing. Decipher this code and enter it onto the isis adventure website under the Ramisis Verification Code section.

Shut up puzz.... 2 numbers=1 letter and every clue you have to start from scratch. If you read the past 20 pages it should give you slot more than those crappy clues. Good luck!

Sorry Puzz-helper. That was rude and I am sorry. Just as an example:71437143
71=I
43=S
Spells ISIS which helps to start with and is in the clues a few times. The clues are individual cyphers.

without step by step the easiest way is hold the ramisis at 45 deg, point down, hand on base, shake and twist layers, keep rotating base in hand evey now and then 45 deg at a time until the ball is in the top, repeat instructions but with point now 45 deg up until the chamber opens, might take a while but it will work I promise Smile

In other words - you twist the layers and rotate the base - just to try different combinations which will make the ball "fall down a layer"?

When you twist the layers - do you move them all or one layer at the time - i.e. only twisting layer 3 and trying to keep the upper layers were they are eventhoug its hard because they follow when you twist layer 3?

Just random, it works for me everytime when I get lost I go to the top and start using my map from there to open the chamber for the second time. it seems more difficult to open it for the second time. almost there methinks
