Another day, another ton of stuff to work through.

Apparently a group called DEPAA http://www.depaa.org have been accused of killing Markus, and they're denying it. There's a video of the press conference here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woZTTvDZgUE which is in Spanish and needs someone to translate. Anyone speak Spanish? Mine is limited to "hi" "my name is Sarah" and "do you speak English" so I'm not much help there I'm afriad!

Just to keep you all updated;

I've mailed DEPAA and got a standard response back on the lines of "we're sorry we're too busy to take your call..."

Matt and Rachel seem on the edge of a tiff, so I'm trying to be sympathetic to Matt whilst Belle befriends Rachel. Not much else is happening at the moment though!

Has anybody (ineffabelle, maybe) played Rachel in chess? Seems like it might be a good de-stresser (what with her uncle's death and all) as well as an excuse for an extended chat.

Also: since I haven't seen it mentioned here, I found a link to a speech by Markus (October 31 2008 although the conference made what i assume was a typo, placing the conference a year in the future) where he talks a bit about his research and thoughts on bioethics.

Twilight-night -- you're right. The Markus storyline in the Routes Game is just that: a story.

No actual Professors were killed in the making of this game.

There's not really much to be working on at the moment, it seems. If you have a facebook account, you can follow Matt and Rachel there. They have fairly comprehensive summaries of the 'action so far'.

If you're looking for in-game people to email, you can try DEPAA, Prometha and any other organisations that Matt or Rachel mention.

Let us know if you find anything new! Oh, and do consider signing up to an unfiction account here; it's free, and it'll stop that annoying 'verify' thing you get with the letters each time you post.

Have just attempted to add Rachel as a friend on Facebook. Felt a bit weird just coming out of the blue with a friend request, so I sent her a message to explain why I added her, to the lines of "I'm really sorry to hear about your uncle, and I really wanna help try and find him!". Gave her the incentive of possibly being able to put a shout out on my uni's radio station for anyone to come forward with any leads, so we'll see if she bites!
