I haven't seen anyone say this, surprisingly, but Dan and Amy aren't Lucians, because their great-grandfather James Cahill isn't a Lucian. If you solve the puzzle for Ace of Spies, you will understand.

I certainly have mentioned this before. As Sidney George Riley says that James Cahill is not a Lucian, Grace, Hope, Amy and Dan cannot possibly be Lucians. I also mentioned that, according to the family tree given in the Australian version of the clue finder guide, James Cahill and Bae Oh are brothers. Bae Oh is an Ekat. Thus, James, Grace, Hope, Amy and Dan are also Ekats.

If Grace was an Ekat, why was Grace so worried about the Ekats finding out that she had the phospohorus clue in the book 1 bonus track?

P.S: Yay! Very Happy My 150th post!

Search me. I made this theory on the basis of James and Bae being brothers. Maybe, Grace was Ekat by blood, but she was not exactly in good relationship with other Ekats. So, she didn't want other Ekats to know that she has a clue.

BTW, Ekatprof, Congrats. You are now a 'Decorated'. Very Happy

Many people here have said that Arthur Trent, Amy and Dan's father is a Tomas. Where exactly did you get this information? I'm at a loss. I've been trying to find out where this is given. I even searched the Tomas Archives (I'm an Ekat, but which Ekat will not keep an eye on his worst rivals, the Tomas? Wink ) Pls. tell me.

For those of you who theorize that book 5 will be about the madrigals, you are correct. Here's the amazon synopsis of book 5.

Amazon wrote:

INCOMING! Amy and Dan have been found UNHARMED! But perhaps not for long - the ruthless Irina Spasky is right on their tail. And WHAT are those crazy kids doing poking their noses into Lucian secrets?!? Are they TRYING to get themselves killed?

The 39 Clues Book 5 takes Dan and Amy on their most dangerous quest yet, one that brings them face to face with the only force capable of scaring the vicious Lucians: the Madrigals.

Some points.

1. James and Bae are Half-brothers.

2. There's always the possibility that Henry Cahill (James' father) is named Cahill in the same way that Dan and Amy were.

3. Every generation that you mentioned has a spouse to factor in. We haven't seen any evidence to suggest which branch children of parents from different branches end up in. We've never even had it confirmed that anyone at all are children from parents of differing branches.

4. All of this means that it's still possible for Amy and Dan to be from any branch or none at all.

Have a nice day. Wink

The book covers are a certain color; 1st book: blue; 2nd book: green; 3rd book:red; 4th: yellow. Do you think the colors mean anything? Maybe blue= Tomas. Does it matter if a book is a certain color? What color will you predict the next book will be? Question Confused Flaming Nutter

Since all four branch colours have been mentioned, black might be colour of the cover of book 5. The madrigals base (whereever that may be) has not been mentioned yet.

My guess is that Madrigals base is Area 51. In Lucian archives, there are pics of suspected madrigals. One of them says Area 51 but it is scratched off on the sign.

That Madrigals base is DEFINITELY NOT Area 51. In the Lucian archives, it is mentioned that Area 51 is a Lucian base. The Lucians themselves control Area 51. The photo which you are talking about, the suspected madrigals one, shows that a madrigal is keeping an eye on the Lucian base, Area 51
Otherwise, they would be breaking the law

You see.... we are spectulating that Arthur was a Tomas because he's an adventurer as said on his tombstone on the Cahill Web http://www.the39clues.com/cahillweb/article/prominent-archaeologist-and-humanitarian-dies-in-tragic-fire.

Since Tomas are known adventurers, we were saying that if Arthur was a Cahill, he would be a Tomas.
