It's been a hell of a long time since I was here (last thing i played here was the emergencysubnet effort!) so it's good to be back.
This has caught my attention and I'm hoping to follow it through, although after my time away my abilities have gone a bit n00bish so you will all just have to forgive me on that one. But I'm looking forward to it.

I think you may have something there. The starting time (8:08PM) is just too suspicious, it must be a clue.

A <span> is simply a container, in HTML. Sort of a <div> but slightly different. I won't go in details here, but I don't think there's anything special about them using a <span>. Yes, the id (tzcd) might indicate they have a countdown going, and we know we're to wait April 1st anyway, but I don't think there's any reason to focus on the nature of <span> per-se.

Now... for thos reading multiple threads.. isn't it odd that both this and 'The Secret Organization' ( http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=27495 ) are scheduled to start on April 1st, 2009 ?

I don't have much experience... is it common for ARGs to start on April Fool's Day (I, for one, would expect otherwise, to avoid confusion between April Fools and legit ARGs) ? And is it common for multiple ARGs to start on the same date ?

 		Well, Deleted: The Game is also counting to launch something April 1...

with no distinct connections, it may be jumping to the gun to connect these two just for the same countdown date... but things to keep an eye on none the less =)

 		It keeps saying to check back and I have, but still nothing's changed...btw I thought that the game was supposed to start @ 8:00, not 8:08...

I copied the original quote on the WIKI along with the link, which was:
