On a more serious note, new comment on TSO myspace:
http://www.myspace.com/thesecretorganisation

Quote:

We have cracked your space!

T.S.O. is doomed!
Your days are numbered.

We suggest that your allies join our side. Rumor has it you have lost control of E.Y.E. and one of your top members is M.I.A.

T.S.O. is history!

SUPPORT THE VIRUS!

From 'Support the virus', whose profile includes an image with the following letters and digits:
Quote:

NCQONTK EGVIW1L0 EGDXM

(the image 'title' is "The Virus ABC123")

Hmm.. this new profile's icon seems to be an aiming reticule on top of 'T.S.O.'... could it be connected to "I've my aim to hunt the shape" ?

You have not cracked anything.
Two can play that game.

Our confrontation will come soon.

New email from yourfutureismypast !

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Have you ever seen Time Square deserted? It will be deserted in your future.
Have you spotted the bio hazard pamphlet on the side of the pay phone?
It shows the reason why all the people have fled from all major cities.
At least, the few who survived.

In my past, the emerge of the Supporters of The Virus was the beginning of the end.
The virus is not a harmless microbe.
You have seen the web cam footage. Don't let my past happen.

Your friend

So if anyone closer to Time Square than me (ehr.. Florida !) could go check out the location.. perhaps we'll find something (definitely, the dates we've been given, April 1st, and June 1st) might be good times to go back there, but why wait ?)

Replying to our friend still triggers the 'Undeliverable' response with binary code (the encoded message has not changed either).

I think this might be a live shot of the phone booths in the vid. Make sure you're on Cam 4:

Working Backwards

I was interested to find out how the codex was used to figure out the solves and these pics show my work. Hope it makes sense. It doesn't seem to apply to the latest riddle though.

I had to split it up into two pictures because all the intersecting arrows got confusing.

This also shows why some letters are indeed doubled.

That is the intersection in E.Y.E.'s video, MrToasty. I just don't see the biohazard thingy that MFIYP mentioned. His message definitely sounds like those dates are deadlines, not wait until now dates. By June 1st, the virus will have done it's work. On April 1st it's released? I think that means we have a deadline to stop the virus.

Nor do I, so I think it's safe to say nobody actually needs to head down to Times Square to look for it.

Another site, same camera - but this one doesn't make you watch the ad before showing the camera:
http://www.camvista.com/usa/ec/newyork.php3

Local time 12:31 (Monday, Feb 16 2009), there's 3 or 4 people in front of the camera clearly 'posing' for the camera.. and a guy, right behind them, with a cardboard sign... can't read the sign and I think it's quite accidental but who knows?

Finally figured it out.

The anagram leads to this phone number..

772-257-4501

Long message so listen closely. I'll try to get a transcript soon.

Just lurking, but I wonder...

First: How did this phone number come up? From the anagram ?

Second: Will someone post the transcript?

lol, sorry Natas. I just didn't want the thread to become overly corrupted. Then again, if someone doesn't soon come up with an idea on how to break the latest code..

I even asked for help on Twitter, via #arg and #tso but so far got no takers Sad

Out of the many anagrams, how are we supposed to know when we get the right one?

I think we need more of a hint.

Also, let's not forget about this bit of code not solved yet:

Code:
