Whoa, this is getting crazy. I got home from the 11:05 in Phoenix a few minutes ago (12 people showed up and we never received a single call from Melissa) and I just got finished listening to the message_saved sound clip. The weird part is that about 20 minutes before the other 11 people arrived I was standing by the payphone by myself when I got a call from somebody (not a recording, but an actual person) asking if someone was there who had the last name Jefferson (I don't recall the first name, but it did sound similar to Selene).

Could this mean something, or was it just some crazy coincidence?

Did nobody read this?

I already posted this but it might fit better here.

1. I haven't heard the .wav files yet but they seem from posts to be Mellissa's memories. Is it possible that some how these are situation
reports/telepathic vibes from the crew? Mellissa says that she is hearing
voices that she thinks belongs to them. Could these .wav files be her
stranded crew members and are we supposed to help her find them?

2. I think that the GPS activity will continue until all 200 or so
"go hot" even if we unlock all the .wav files first.

3. The 777 counter could be total axons/completed tasks that we must
achieve throughout the whole ARG. Someone mentioned that 777 is
supposed to have a biblical definition of completeness or fullness. Could
this be the real beginning of this ARG as some have speculated?
After we get all GPS axons could we have 550+ tasks to fullfill through
a variety of puzzles and methods?

GO!!

no, listen to the wavs

Lie detectors detect lies based on your heart rate, so I think the reason it made the sound when she saw her dad is because she was nervous she would be in trouble from him, and her heart rate elevated and the test picked it up. just my theory, but i dont think she is hiding anything ala her dad not being her dad.

Remember Bungie's significant numbers are 3s and 7s...

Now what would the signifigance of a counter that said 210/777.
It has Bungie flavor to it but that is also an argument that proves it.
Bungie does not do anything without a reason.

As far as getting 777/777 in this phase of game, I doubt that we will have
keep taking days and days off from work to go out to spots over and over
again.

I think 210??/777 is enough for this phase and other phases will have
lesser and/or greater amounts. Think of it as % completed.

"Modern day" lie detectors do that. In modern day, you can't "ghost" people, either. The fact that he hand has to be on a touch plate tells us it's not like "our" lie detectors.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the lie detectors analyze more then just one's heart rate. But yeah, if i was in her situation my heart would jump when my dad entered the room.

maybe, but your fingertips and palm are some of the best places to feel for a pulse when your heart rate is elevated.

I think it is moisture based as you sweat a lot under pressure and stress or more likely a combination of both

This link confirms my assumption, on the lie detector not just analyzing heart.
