Thanks for keeping us waiting Relia.
I tried once before, but the damn thing was screwed on so tight I couldn't get it loose. I actually had to use a pair of needle-nose pliers this time. XD

Just a thought... What's the "fund" made out of? Could there be something inside? Besides just taking off the base... could you crack or smash it? that would be something "bold".
It's poured plastic. I really would rather not take a hammer (HAMMERS!) to it unless Chuck tells me to in a very clear Twitter.

But all of that is lollipops and porkchops compared
to the threat of M-collapse. This little-spoken-of con-

Is it possible that my tampering with the CDF was what was "widely regarded as an absolutely terrible idea," and now some RE-SEATING is needed? You could certainly call this a lot of chthonic energy which was produced by my unscrewing the statue ("rotor coil?").
Then there's the choice of three paths Chuck is referring to -- this page has three tables on it. "The Way Into the Doleful City", "Simple ... and direct" and "A long walk." Those could all describe paths.

If that's the case & "A long walk" hasn't been used yet, it may be useful. But for what?

Chuck, are you trying to tell me to SHATTER THE CHAMPION DYNASTY FUND?!
I really don't want to
(also, I love that his toe can shatter cinderblocks. And that a cinderblock is a priceless artifact.)

From Twitter.
Shattering artefacts, huh... I wonder if Chuck DOES want you to smash the Fund :/ I hope not!
EDIT :: You beat me to it Relia!

I'll look at it when I get it home tonight and see if there's any way to saw it apart at the seam without breaking it into a million pieces.
Chuck, please don't make me do it
It looks like he may want me to shatter BOTH PARTS of it, in which case there is no way to break the base and then reassemble it later.

Let's say that someone -- someone who might or might not be me -- was entrusted with an object of great power -- an object which might or might not be the Champion Dynasty Fund statue -- and that that person, in a fit of, errr, educated scientific curiousity, sort of, errr, took it apart? In that unlikely hypothetical situation, what do you think that hypothetical person should do to deal with the hypothetical cataclysmic consequences of that hypothetical act?

Relia, if you shatter it and the result is inconclusive, I will find a way to send you a replacement golden turkey.
It does seem like it has to be shattered though.

Relia, now is the time that I think it's important to consider the big questions in life...
In this particular instance, that question is "will it blend?"

JESUS CHRIST DON'T BLEND IT
I guess maybe examine it closely to see if there are any signs that it was taken apart and glued back together? And then make incisions accordingly.
Also, let's not forget that Charles Jagoda is so powerful that he has amassed enough vegetation to qualify as a "vineyard". So maybe a lot of force will be needed to open it - but dear god not with a Blendtec product. Maybe... an electric drill. Or a sledgehammer?

I was thinking I'd take it down into my basement tonight, clamp the turkey in a vise, then put a chisel against the seam of the plastic and try to hammer the plastic open. If that doesn't work, maybe I'll try my drill.
The best thing for the job would be a Dremel, I think, but I don't own one, so.
This whole prospect makes me so sad.
Also, my blender is only an Osterizer, so that is not an option.

Well just uh, stand outside on a concrete surface or something, turn your head the other way, lift it up high, close your eyes, and drop it.
Then go "uh-oh."
