My reply.

Quote:

I feel I would be a great fit for Token Asian. My homework is always done on time, with all applicable extra credit. I am trained in martial arts as I (along with many other asians) am not a very good lover (dang I wish I was part black). If anybody ever needs help with work they may feel free to copy off of me. I love anime, unfiction, and all things neon colored.

Also, I wouldn't mind becoming a stripper if the above position has been filled (you don't mind male strippers do you?). I have the most amazing, gyrating hips in all the land. I can pick anything off the ground with only my buttocks. I also have no morals.

do you think I hit enough on asian stereotypes?

makeshift_romeo, I think you're amazing XD

Well since everyone else is doing it... here's my email!

I will remind you that I applied for the job of Token Lesbian.

Quote:
As lesbians go, we know that some just aren't as gay as they should be. But I have great confidence that you will find that I am one of the most committed lesbians out there. I love chicks, man. And I'm not afraid to say it! I LOVE CHICKS!!!! *clears throat* Excuse me. Sometimes I get a little too excited about my orientation.

But in all seriousness, I've been an active member in the LGBT community, attending protests, gay dances, and all manners of gay parties.

If you don't believe me, I could get you multiple references saying what a good lesbian I am, if you get my drift. ( Well, maybe not, since they're all straight girls... Very Happy )

As for my other choices:
1) Town Crier (which I would be most willing to multitask for as The Lesbian Town Crier or That Lesbian Who Yells A Lot)
2) Ferret Wrangler
3) Namer of Things
4) Stripper

Looks like I've got Parrot Guy/ Governor wrapped up. This Is Not A River is good, since it clearly isn't. But I'd go for Rio del Twinkie as well.

Staked my claim to a plot of land. The part in white. Very Happy

Your Royal Highness,

First, let me offer my humble idea of renaming the river to "The River Harold," in order that your great and illustrious reign might be remembered for as long as the river flows - a fitting memorial to a wise and illustrious ruler.

Second, let me reiterate my prodigious qualifications in Ferret Wrangling - being born into a family as the eldest, with three particularly rodent-like siblings; an age-old fascination with ferrets, including extensive research on their care, feeding habits, hygenic practices, and whether it might be feasible to smuggle one illegally into a dormitory; and even, in middle school, a hand-drawn comic, with a ferret as the protagonist. While he was certainly more anthropomorphic than your average ferret, the research I did in the middle school library in order to convey his ferret-y tendencies gave me a solid basis to begin my Wrangling Career, even at such a tender age.

If I am passed over for Ferret Wrangler, I would also be interested in:
Town Drunk (with a specialty in week-long benders and drinking anything alcoholic - including cooking wine and Miller High Life)
Fire Chief (I love setting fires)
Barber of Seville (capable of singing while shaving, and have never visited Fleet Street - cuts down on barber-related fatalities)
or Sheriff (has own chaps)

I rest securely in the knowledge that you shall choose correctly, no matter the decision. I await your commands.

Your servant,
Jello Arm

I am a strong believer that flattery can get you everywhere.

Ehehehe, we get to pick a name for the river? There's SOOOOO many bad possibilities that could come out of this one! Very Happy We need to do some serious brainstorming.

Also, I just noticed that the thread title here says "Unfictiontopia" rather than "Unfictionopia". Can someone change that?

(And maybe put a snappy tagline while you're at it?)

I put forth as a river name: Rio del Twinkie

Alternately: Rio del Hoho

But I may be way off base here Wink

I suggested Pastry Rapids
