Hey Mikey P!
Great work! Thanks for that!
There are three main reasons why this is is not a part of operation disk drop:
1) The tracks were not listed
2) It did not say 'operation disk drop' anywhere on the package
3) It was not a 'random location' as the instructions require - it was a very specific location in fact
Great idea though!!!!

So I have been going over the lyrics and there seem to be a few reoccurring themes. Here is what I've got thus far.
*Both the beginning and ending songs deal with the idea of a game. Obviously.
*Isolation/Desire to disappear (phrase "I will disappear" in two songs), in the same vein a desire to escape reality popped up a few times.
*Political/personal rebellion basically a "think for yourself" attitude.
*Sleeping shows up quite a few times, as does night and darkness. Suicide also is in a few songs...maybe the idea is eternal sleep...eternal darkness.
*Contradiction of what one believes.
So, that is what I have been able to get out of it. Any thoughts?

This picture is obviously of some formal event. They are not in a studio, they are in a room of some sort.
this event is formal because they are all dressed up at least semi nicely. the two men in the back have sashes on, indicating that the sashes are thought of as being appropriate formal wear.
the people are wearing black (at least the oldest lady is). perhaps a funeral?
also...the two women on the right look italian to me (sicilian to be exact)...as does the old lady sitting in the chair. none of the men look italian to me though...perhaps german? im not sure.
lastly...the two girls on the left hand side. they look scary...like...not quite right some how.

While it's possible that it was a formal event where the photo was taken, it's more likely that it was simply a family photo. If you peruse other photos during that time period of families, you'll see very similar set ups and arrangements.

I agree thegreatpablo, it looks pretty typical of family photos of the time!
I am not sure what to make of all this, I think I will have to blog to the game designers that we need more info!

This looks interesting...I'll bite. Anyway, I was gonna say maybe it's someone American. I'm not sure how much sashes were in America, but also this mustachioed man look real pinchy, like Custer or something (it's not Custer, but you get the idea.). Also, starspider, does W.O.W mean anything to you besides World of Warcraft? Maybe knowing this might help too. Also, if you don't me asking, do you have a scanner or something that might give us a slightly clearer glimpse at this photo? Or am I stupid and is that exactly what I'm looking at? Haha.
Edit: Oh, and also! What did the CD come in?

Hey! The CD came in a clear case, no markings. I have no idea who W.O.W could be and I am currently in the process of moving, I will be getting a scanner soon! But the image is not much clearer then in the picture, you are really not missing much detail!

Not sure if it's related... A Quick google for A.R.E brings up Edward Cayce -
Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) has been called the "sleeping prophet," the "father of holistic medicine," and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce gave psychic "readings" to thousands of seekers while in an unconscious state, diagnosing illnesses and revealing lives lived in the past and prophecies yet to come. But who, exactly, was Edgar Cayce?
Thats from http://www.edgarcayce.org/are/edgarcayce.aspx
However, it looks like it's a completely OOG site.

Krissy: A.R.E. Stands for Alternate Reality Events - my company (www.alternaterealityevents.com).
In light of recent events it has become clear that this is more of a personal game then I thought, I have links to the most recent developments (including video) on my blog: http://arexistence.blogspot.com/
This is all very interesting and a mystery is still in the air. I have a more detailed picture on my blog for people - if anyone still had interest despite the developments and recent information!

Some friends of mine think those sashes might be Masonic. If Mr. Mustache has a ring on his right hand, we may have something to start with. I can show it to a couple of Masons I know, see if they turn anything up.

Star, the video on your blog bounces through Facebook and is no longer available.
And, for that matter, that Facebook page you linked to is over a year old and hasn't updated since October.

Thanks for the heads up Nighthawk, he took down the video and all the info from his profile since last Oct.
The video basically explained that the music was an effort to explain himself and the picture would be some sort of clue to who he really is. The game is for me to identify him and I am supposed to meet him in downtown Toronto next Saturday.
The game is clearly on.
