Anyone had a look on Matt's blog recently?
There's some stuff about a DNA code sequence... I gotta admit, I'm kinda lost now.
Take a looksie and get back to me Smile
http://www.mattblacker.co.uk/2009/02/mike-cox-nearly-cracks-the-code/

It's from one of the pages of notes from Markus' notebook, where he's written what is apparently a DNA sequence. If you type it into a DNA sequence translator, you get the "Message"
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
STGRYNEEDSLEGALCLEARANCE*PRIESGLICITG?LDN*

Found it yesterday on Matt's blog and tried to transcribe it, but got the same result, unfortunately. Something about a needing legal clearance (maybe for a story, but it was spelt STGRY in the code, so not sure.....). As Mike, the guy who originally transcribed it, said, the end bit is a bit un-decipherable. I suggested to Matt that maybe Markus was in a hurry, got the code wrong, and the bit that reads "ESGLICIT" should read "EXPLICIT", but that's pure speculation.

Any thoughts?

I can osrt of see where you're coming from... but it doesn't work.
The keys aren't anywhere near each other on a QWERTY keyboard, and the same goes for texting...

Think again Natman!

I got the same email from Rachel. Definitely just promo to everyone, automated; I know this because she used my real name, not my ARG name. XD

Still no post from DEPAA. I think they lied; don't think I'm getting any post from them any point soon. Sad

I'll try and get my head around the DNA later. For my two cents; PRIESGLICITG?LDN the LDN could be London? G is next to T on the keyboard, so Priest licitg london? I'll keep thinking, lol.

So... I've been doing some searching. LDN, in particular.

http://www.lowdosenaltrexone.org/

Apparently, it's a drug used to treat multiple sclerosis, among other things, including Chrone's disease and HIV/AIDS.

Since Markus was taking drugs for some condition... is it possible that it's this?

If that is where we're supposed to be doing...

P R I E S G L I C I T G K/L - L D N

Nope... still not getting much further. Sad

So... I finally got something in the post from DEPAA. Very Happy

From what I can see, it's a poster, a flyer (the same one those at the lecture got) and a post-it note. I've attached photos. I've looked over them as carefully as I can... but I can't see anything at all special about them. I'm going to find myself a UV pen and check for that, but otherwise... any ideas?

Of course, they might not be anything special at all, but they did make the effort (and spend £1.14) to send it to me so... I'm hoping it's something important!

Did anyone else win a ticket to the comedy gig on Saturday? I did, not sure I'm going yet or not though.

I did! Finally. I was going to get all huffy if I didn't, after the amount of times they've quoted me on the Routes homepage, lol.

Well, remember to keep us posted... the less fortunate ones who didn't get a ticket.

Something is bound to kick off.... I feel it in me bones! Ha Ha!

Oh, and get me a video of Matt Blacker agreeing to marry me, if its not too much bother.

AND forensic evidence.

AND take pictures. Lots and lots of pictures.

I'm done now. xD

Well after all that, I realised that I'd been under the impression that this, like the lecture event, was in Cambridge. It's not, it's in London, so I can't actually go. There's no way I can get out of London at 11pm on a Saturday night and make it back up to the Midlands, and I can't afford a London hotel on four days notice. So I emailed them back and told them I can't go. Sad

Rubbish or what?

People going are obliged to take photos etc.

 We are being watched!

**** WE ARE BEING WATCHED ****

Yes people, we are being watched. On this forum, right now. Watched.

I posted a message on here saying I couldn't get tickets to the event (see 2 posts up ^^ ). I only said this on here, not on facebook, twitter, myspace, etc....
Just here.

So, imagine my suprise when I get a facebook mail from a certain Mr Blacker offering me tickets for the event. He said:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
'Hi Kimberly,

I gather you couldn't get comedy gig tickets for Saturday. I've now poked the production company with a stick and they've said it's fine for you to come along. They'll stick you on the list. Here's the blurb stuff from them. I'll send the form via my email...

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Below are the details and the legal stuff we need to cover off with you:

The doors open for the Comedy Gig at 7pm, Saturday 7th March 2009. Please
come to the following address:
Hoxton Hall
130 Hoxton Street
London
N1 6SH

If you click on the link below, there's a map which will show you where
the Gig will take place: .................... '

Now, I don't mind him stalking me. He's cute.
But thats not the point! Be warned people, I feel we are being watched!

It'd be a rare ARG developer indeed who did not watch this forum. Wink

I got offered "press tickets" to the Cambridge thing by Rachel when I said I hadn't got any..... might be the same with you??? Also found it a bit odd that I was invited to the FB group about the comedy gig before I'd even won tickets.... me being paranoid??? Nah! Are you gonna go to it then, Kim?

I know, I was trying to have a giggle Very Happy

Unfortunately I'm the same as Sarah, I can't get there and back on short notice. Its like £60 train fare, and I'd be stuck for getting home.
Are you going?

ANYHOO... Massive development on the Matt Blacker front.
Before you read this post got to www.matttblacker.com and read his latest posts, then come back!

Done that? Sure?
Ok, well om the back of that I did a little rooting around and came up with this. I'm just pasting from the message I sent Matt, so bear with it!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Hey Matt,

First of all, sorry to hear about the flat fiasco - it must be really unnerving to know someone is trying to watch you. But I am hoping I can help...

I went on a mission after I read your post earlier, and found some interesting stuff.
I went onto Surveil Teq's website, to get some info on the device. Turns out the catalogue is down, but the support is still up. So I typed in the model and serial code of your transmitter. Boy, is this interesting!

Here's what I found:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Nulla a dolor. Praesent rhoncus. Aliquam rhoncus risus at mauris commodo vulputate. Donec justo massa, ultricies id, posuere a, placerat ac, dolor. Vestibulum eget dolor. Nulla facilisis varius tortor. Curabitur ornare interdum pede. Donec eros. Donec dignissim justo sagittis justo. Ut et arcu eget ligula consequat volutpat.

PRODUCT MODEL: SVT-805J
PRODUCT S/N: 1598QQ4
CONTACT: BLACKMOOR CORP SVCS
WARRANTY EXPIRY: 19.02.2009
TROUBLE TICKET 08-530924

SUBMITTED: 24.09.2008
RETURNE: 19.10.2008

RETURNED: Customer reports clicking noise emitted from camera
RESOLUTION: Problem not repeatable in shop, returned to customer.

Now, I've ran the top test through a language indentifier (google search) and it comes back that it is Latin. So, I went on to try and translate it, and guess what... its not latin. Bummer...
I can see why the indentifier picked it up as latin, there are approxiamately 7 words in there that are latin descent (but then, what isn't?). So I reckon its some kind of obscure language, I don't know.
I'm going to have to leave that one to you.

Now, if you look at the details lower down, you'll see that your box was taken back to the store last September due to fault but was returned to the customer in November.
Furthermore, you'll see that the warranty expired on the 19th of Feb '09. Therefore, there is paperwork somewhere on the system (name, address, card details) as required by law for a warranty.
Now, this is where I think that number on your pad comes in, I think its an account number.
I'm not overly techno-savvy but I'm sure you would have to turn on the transmitter via the original source, Surveil Teq's website. Was there a laptop or PC on your desk?
Have you checked your history?

There is a place where you can access your account online, but obviously without the password we're poo-pooed. I hope this gives you a little more hope!
Stick in there, and be safe.

I'm now rooting around Blackmoor Corporate Services, as they are involved wih the company. I've also e-mailed the company asking about the product, saying my army partner shoved it in my hands before he upped and left to Afghan.
Ok.... a white lie. But in my defense, he does do that a lot! xD

Discussion would be lovely Smile

I posted some of that yesterday evening on Matt's facebook. Wink

Lorem Ipsum is a filler text used by people in the publishing / design world, when you want to fill a space with text but don't have the final copy yet. For me, seeing that on the page was the confirmation I needed that this site was IG. Up til then I wasn't entirely convinced, what with the 'verified by paypal' and all that.

My theory is that Jim/Mylo is involved with Blackmoor, and could possibly be surveilling (is that a word? lol) Matt. Maybe Aalia's reference was to warn Matt of him, not instruct him to go to him for help.

Ipsum you say? Intrigueing.

I got a reply from Matt on facebook re: the information posted above.
Just simply read 'Wow. Thanks! Mind if I post this on my blog?'

To which I, of course, replied NO!
Ha Ha! Then said yeah, go for it.

Wahey! A face-mail from Matt Blacker.... one step closer to marraige. Twisted Evil
