Certainly, breaking it was the way to go. Let's see if this photo-verified repaired state elicits anything before continuing our demolition, though.

If it comes to it, you may want to consider getting your hands on a sledge with which to bust open that base. If nothing else, it would make a spectacular testament to your dedication to the cause.

I was originally in favor of not smashing it, but the more I think about it, the more I change my mind. It seems more likely to that continuing catastrophe is more likely to move the plot forward than the opposite. I certainly don't like to think about the GoDSEED coming back, but that's certainly more interesting plotwise than maintaining order.

At the same time, I feel Relia's pain; I would have an incredibly difficult time smashing such an amazing artifact.

Doing nothing but watching what happens next isn't going to get us anywhere.

Try smashing it! It's not like the CDF's power is going to come back after you already disassembled it, anyway.

Oh, and just remember: fortune favors the bold!

Prob nothin inside... but breaking it open is more of a "bold" mover that will possibly cause more things to happen.

I guess if you waited through today to see what happened, if anything, after repairing, it wouldn't hurt anything.

Also, Joey was pretty serious about you knowing how to handle the CDF... like if you read the literature etc... Maybe that has something to do with ARH and mirrors or alternate ways of viewing it. (combining a lot of ideas already mentioned around here)

Doom to Milwaukee

I think we've waited long enough for further clues about this. i doubt there'll be anything in it but with the severe reaction we got to just disassembling it, there's no way that breaking it wouldn't have a big effect on the game.
It might not be the only way to move forward but it's practically a sure thing.
Plus I think bringing something akin to the 300 troubles is what we need to spur Milwaukee onward not to mention it would pretty funny... in a dark kind of way.

Thankfully, nowhere near the canning district.

I'm sure the bulk of the new tweets will be posted over on the Chuckdideeate thread before I even finish typing this, but;

I think Chuck has finally answered our question this time.

That wraps up another case for Great Detective Jagoda!

True, he probably was annoyed he had to spell it out. If we had continued he might have drawn us a picture...

Maybe we should re-consider not not breaking it, you know, just to get a Chuck drawing...

Terry Nanny is also on crutches. In a way, I am glad we are leaning away from destroying the Fund, because smashing the turkey would give Mr. Nanny more than a little migraine. Surprised

what the f*ck? okay...so, we're not supposed to break it? So, what exactly are we supposed to do now? Doing nothing led to nothing but silence. I want this game to continue to a conclusion, damnit!!

It appears that there is some confusion as to exactly what he is saying. Some people see it as chuck saying "don't break it", though I don't see why that would be a big deal. I saw it as "I hope no one breaks it, nudge nudge, wink wink" AKA "break it".

Agreed. It's so ambiguous. It's hard to read into a tweet the writer's intentions. I think this is a glass half empty/half full issue. Some of us will look at it and see "Don't break it!" and some of us will look at it and see "Break it!".

I say give it a couple days and see if the PM's move this along. If not, we can always smash it then. Of course, this is entirely up to Relia. It's her turkey after all.

No, no confusion, stop that, we have our answer. ;_;
