I'm sure there's nothing inside the trophy. That's not why we're supposed to smash it (if that is indeed the route we are to take).

ChuckDideEate Just got back from a long meeting with Terry over at BS. He says they're having problems, too. Interestingly, he was on crutches.

I think that spells it out pretty clearly. Poor PM's, we've probably frustrated the crap out of them with our debate.

they can't blame us for scalded crotches, though. that's just poor planning on their parts!

Hello fellow Millwaukee residents.

This is my first ARG. And so far its been a great experience. I've gotten all caught up and am looking forward to participating. I watched the youtube vids, with the central park fight, and read all the phone transcripts and various other things.

From what I can tell it's at a standstill with the decision to break the turkey or not. It seems like chucks message was to cryptic, and people can't decide if he was being serious or was trying to let us know to go ahead and break it.

Anyways, just saying hi to everyone. Hope this is an okay thread to do that. I didn't see any other thread that seemed more appropriate.

So I noticed Chuck was talkin about banana peels a lot lately, so I decided to google banana peels. I didn't really find out any info pertaining to the game, but I did find out that you can use banana peels to cure headaches, get rid of warts, polish your boots, and even trip balls. Who knew!

We should try cross referencing banana peels with black cats, or the number 666 or something like that. Just brainstorming here. Smile

That was the only way I saw it until I started reading other people's posts taking it literally.

Breaking open the statue in the first place was a "bad idea" in that it caused all this bad luck to Milwaukee, but nothing had been going on until then! We're supposed to break it further to keep advancing the plot.

Playing the devil's advocate, we can't exclude the possibility that we're still missing a clue that would let us move forward without potentially causing a disaster- the bad things may be just that, a side effect of tampering with the fund when we aren't supposed to, not actual plot advancement. The fund could be extremely important for their future plans for the story, and destroying it completely may cause an actual "disaster" in that we can't complete the story as planned.

The "three paths" comment may be indicating otherwise, however.
