Hi Amandel - unless you have information I don't, I would disagree on the bus stop. DDO's message said "between" 6th and Broadway, a five block area - the midpoint of which is almost exactly where Ghadhean marked it on his map. A bus picking up passengers on the west side of the street would be travelling south, so you have to look at the southbound schedule to see the stops.

Google shows a Rosati's Pizza at the 6th Street bus stop. This Tucson location is not listed on their company website, so I don't know if it is still open or not. The Google photo shows the number (520) 622-2200. Maybe we can call them and ask them to look at the bus stop(s). What are we looking for exactly anyway? Something taped under the bench?

Perhaps Tiffany can convince DDO to be more specific about the location?
Yet, since Mindhaze isn't bringing the pinwheels there it may be a mute "rupture" point now. Rolling Eyes

Ok, I've got some news to share with everyone. Here is what Creepy sent me in a series of direct messages via Twitter regarding Page 5:

Quote:

Page five says... "To be read aloud." I feel VERY uncomfortable sending this... but I know you're trying to help.

It says: FSLI WUL KEFRIN GIN OLW WULBL SLFSOL WUEFRKU WF G ILM MFEON. FSLI WUL KEFRIN, GIN OLW WULH BGDL RB GOO CEFH WUL LDTO ULEL. WUTB TB WUL OGBW FC HV BWELIKWU. WUTB TB HV OGBW BSLOO. FRW.

Honestly, I don't know HOW you could read that aloud, but... please. Seriously. Please be careful. I don't understand what it means.

So after you solve this Cryptogram you get the following (which I've spoilered in case you'd like to solve it on your own):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
OPEN THE GROUND AND LET THESE PEOPLE THROUGH TO A NEW WORLD. OPEN THE GROUND, AND LET THEM SAVE US ALL FROM THE EVIL HERE. THIS IS THE LAST OF MY STRENGTH. THIS IS MY LAST SPELL. OUT.

So this would seem to be our code. I figure I'll write it on the pinwheels if that's what is needed. I'll be heading out tomorrow morning to the two CA locations. I probably won't be posting anything until Sunday. Seeing as the drops are about an hour and a half away, and both are in Orange County, my girlfriend and I are making a day out of it. Two rupture points followed by a victory trip to Disneyland. Save the world, ride Space Mountain...or something like that.

Anyway, someone should probably let DDO know about the Page 5 info so that we can confirm that it is in fact what we need. He may have last minute instructions for the rupture points. It would seem that things are bulding to an exciting end!

Yes, it looks like that, doesn't it? And I'll miss the whole fun & drama: I'll be away for a long weekend and won't be online again until Wednesday. Sad Crying or Very sad Bang Head
I wish you all good luck & lots of fun!

Hi gang!

I hope the weekend finds you all well. I managed to get to the Fullerton rupture point yesterday. I'll have a couple of pictures for you tonight of the location but here is what I found.

Under the west facing bench in Mountain View Park I found a ziplock bag duct-taped to the bottom of the bench. Inside the bag was a green pinwheel with no writing on it. I replaced that with the pinwheel I made, complete with code, and left it taped under the bench. I notified DDO this morning to let him know. Sadly I couldn't go to the second point as traffic in Orange County was crazy yesterday. So we cut our losses around 4pm and went to Disneyland instead. Awesome Day!

As I said, I'll post the pictures I took later today. For those who couldn't get to your rupture points, you may want to contact DDO and see if there is another way to complete this task without actually having to get to the rupture points. He hinted at that earlier in the week in regards to the Tampa location.

Episode seven is up, this story is getting way better than I ever expected.

Apparently the rupture points can be used to send messages. This means that getting to them will be pretty crucial if we don't want DDO messing everything up for the seeker. From the new twit, creepy sounds a little upset. I take it we have a lot of explaining to do, especially Ifihadahifi....

Tweeted a reply to Creepy to begin mending bridges so we can all work together on a plan to bring them home and...

arrange for DDO to feel the snuggy comfort of a straightjacket forevah. Feeling pretty depri. Sad

Well that episode was a bummer. Never good to find out that your work has allowed a complete lunatic to mess things up for everyone. The good news is, with me dropping a pinwheel with the code at the rupture point, it should be available for those still trapped in the world to use. We just need to figure out where it is. If we get the code to Creepy, maybe she can work something into the story to help get everyone home safely.

I feel bad that I helped the doctor. But I don't know that there was any other way to go.

ETA - So I had a short conversation with Creepy via Twitter. I contacted her to explain my actions. I hurt her feelings a bit by not going to her with the info, but all may not be lost.

I am so sorry, Creepy. I thought The Doctor was trying to help us. There are six rupture points, two in CA, two in FL, and one in TX and AZ.

I went to a rupture point in Fullerton, CA. I left a pinwheel with the code written on it. Maybe the Seeker and Earl can find it? So Sorry.

If you need anything else, let me know. I have the code if it would be useful for you. I am a fool for helping the Doctor.

Creepy
I'm really surprised that no one told me this information. Didn't you trust me?

ifihadahifi
The Doctor lied to us. He said it was your fault. I was foolish to believe him.

Creepy
However -- if you've placed the code in the rupture point, you may have saved them all. I need to figure out where it is in their world.

I'll do some research here in the book to see if there's any indication. Still sad you didn't come to me, but very glad the code is there.

ifihadahifi
If there is any way I can make it up to you, just say the word and I'll do it. You have a lot of fans trying to help out. They're good folks

Creepy
I see what happened. You have done the right thing. He is clearly a troubled mind. I will let you know if I find anything useful.

So we should expect to hear from Creepy, I guess. Looks like we have a chance to make things right after all. Hopefully we can bring back The Seeker and Earl. I am sorry that Randy probably can't be saved. Anyone planning on making a Randy cartoon/movie/radio show this week?

Still using the funkiest land-line connex on the planet so while I'm working on a fan thingy, there's no assurance that it can be uploaded to the LunyHeads site. More important.....

Happy that all is mended with Creepy. Hope we can all help to devise a plan to save Seeker, Earl and the WhirlGo peeps. Cool

A random thought?

I feel like I haven't posted in awhile, so I thought I would share this random thought....

Does anyone remember a few episodes back when the Seeker had the box of jewels? In the same episode, I remember Winston saying that he had the same jewels at home and that if someone asked him for them he could just give the jewels to them. I keep thinking about this and wonder if the jewels have some sort of as-yet-undetermined power and if we might be able to use them to circumvent the whole rupture point/pinwheel business?

Does anyone think this is worth pursuing? Is there a way to contact Winston? I suppose we need to find out what the jewels can do first, but it might be worth getting them for future use.

Like I said, just a random thought...

Now I have to envy you not only for the drop but for Disneyland, too. Wink Did you have a chance to post the drop-pictures, yet?

witSeeker, I admit I never paid much attention to what Winston said and wrote it all off as boasting, but I like your idea. As far as I know we don't have any contact information for Winston. You should ask Creepy about it. If you're right, she'll probably tell you how to reach Winston. Otherwise, if she says she doesn't know how to contact him, we can be fairly certain that it's a wrong track.

No I didn't. I'll make sure they go up this weekend.

Also I sent off the two CA rupture points to Creepy. I figured I'd let someone else tell her about the others so that I wasn't having all of the fun.

Hard to believe it's almost over. Only one more episode to go.

I tweeted Creepy the AZ location. This has been a lot of fun. I'm really glad this was my first ARG. It has been quite whimsical, which has made all the difference.

I just got a chance to listen to Episode 8, and it is awesome! There is another weird commercial from The Doctor that we may need to take a look at. I have a feeling there is something there for us to find.

All in all, a great start to the day!

ETA - I had a chance to listen to the DDO commercial again. Here's the transcription. The bold letters are what I found:

Quote:

I am the doctor
For all of you who don't believe me listen to this
Remember it
On top of my pinwheels, all covered with cheese
Maybe that's not the right song
Listen to this instead
I lost my poor pinwheels, when somebody sneezed
Good
Have you written that down?
That is my song
That is my song
On top of my pinwheels
Doctors are the best
Are you listening
Remember
Keep listening
I am the doctor
I am the doctor

I know this was revealed to be the title of the book, but are we meant to use this somewhere else? Seems strange to have something so cluey in the last broadcast.
